【Abstract】English has been an international language. How to teach English well is an annoying problem，also a hot topic.Besides the basic skills of language should be taught by different ways，Playing well his role，using equal attitude to students，adding new teaching methods and giving encourages to them still play the dominant role in English teaching.

【摘要】英語是一種國際語言。如何教英語是一個惱人的問題，也是一個熱門話題。除了語言的基本技能應(yīng)該由不同的方式教導(dǎo)，扮演好自己的角色，用平等的態(tài)度的學(xué)生，添加新的教學(xué)方法，和鼓勵他們在英語教學(xué)中發(fā)揮主導(dǎo)作用。

Introduction

As the development of the society and the technology，English has been an international language. How to teach English well is an annoying problem，also a hot topic. Therefore，finding a good way to break the traditional teaching concept and belief has been a necessary thing for a teacher. Now I will show you some methods of teaching English well.

Generally speaking，the aim of the teachers or the educational department is the four language skills： listening，speaking，reading，and writing. It doest mean it is everything in learning English. So，you should pay attention to other things if you want to teach English well. Playing well his role，using equal attitude to students，adding new teaching methods and giving encourages to them still play the dominant role in English teaching.

1.Playing well the role

Under the new educational background，the teacher is a guider，organizer and motivator. It means that the teacher should guid the students by right methods and believes. When the students are in trouble，teachers shouldnt tell them the answers directly，but lead them to deal with it by themselves. Nixon had said that the adult can not answer anything of the natural boy. He only can guide them and let them be crazy to find the answers by themselves. Then，as an organizer，the teacher can not only pay attention to teaching. He also should administer the classroom order and organize the classroom atmosphere. Besides，when the students make a mistake，the teacher should encourage them instead critics. Nowadays，more and more people think encouragement is more effective than critics. If you encourage them and help them，you can make a good impression to them and get harmonious relationship with them.

2.Using equal attitude to students

Many teachers in middle school have discrimination to the poor students. This way is thought not a good way. In the new century，everyone is equal and everyone has the right to be respected. Besides，the kind of discrimination may lead to the students lose the interest of the teacher and the teacher. Then，the result of it may influence the future of the students and the achievement of the teachers. From above，we can know that treating the students equally can benefit both the teacher and the students.

3.Adding new teaching methods

In the new syllabus，the class should be students-oriented，the teacher is only a guider，variety of aids should be used and the students and teacher should interact. The teacher can use questions enter into the topic or the PPT，or the pictures or the flash，etc. Only by using the new aids and new patterns can attract the attention of the students and get more effective outcome. The students like to study and the teacher like to teach.

4.Giving encourages to the students

Practice out of class is also very important in English learning. The teacher should encourage the students to practice by themselves. After all，“practice makes perfect.” And whatever has been taught is followed by practice，practice，and more practice. This is not totally wrong except that the students get tired of practice very soon. When this happens，the students think that English is a dull subject and lose interest. There is a need to avoid repetitive practice and use more stimulating activities that involve students thinking，and encourage them often. The teacher should encourage the students to think besides practice. Learning after thinking is more effective when the learners are actively involved in the learning and thinking process. As we all known，language is an instrument used in the communication of thought. Therefore，if thinking help learning，then thinking becomes a means of effective learning and remembering. So，that the teacher encourages the students to think only benefits them and has no harm. The last，but not the least，the teacher should encourage the students to speak without fear，use all of their resources，surround themselves with English，listen to native speakers as much as possible，watch English films and television，and listen to the English songs.

Conclusion

In a word，as a teacher，if he wants to teach English well，he should have many different methods of teaching knowledge，have an attitude of equivalent with each student，let students think and practice，encourage not critics them to create or widen their thoughts. Do as that，maybe he can be a good teacher and teach English well.
