本課是新人教PEP 六年級(jí)下冊(cè)第四單元的第四課時(shí)B Let’s talk 的內(nèi)容,單元標(biāo)題“Then and now”,本單元學(xué)習(xí)的話題是談?wù)撌挛锖腿宋锏慕裎糇兓?。本部分學(xué)習(xí)的核心詞匯是different,active ,核心句型是Before,I was …Now, I am …等,教材通過(guò)Mike、John陳杰和三個(gè)小朋友一起看老照片,談?wù)撟约旱淖兓瘉?lái)讓學(xué)生感知上述句型的語(yǔ)義及語(yǔ)用情景,學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用Before, I was… Now ,I am …等描述自己與他人的變化。
該課屬于對(duì)話教學(xué),因此本課的設(shè)計(jì)思路為:引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在語(yǔ)境中理解、學(xué)說(shuō)對(duì)話,在情景中鞏固、運(yùn)用對(duì)話中的核心語(yǔ)言 “Before, I was… Now , I am …”;語(yǔ)言活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)從學(xué)說(shuō)、角色表演到運(yùn)用,層層遞進(jìn),在滾動(dòng)復(fù)現(xiàn)中實(shí)現(xiàn)鞏固與內(nèi)化、運(yùn)用與提升。
能夠在圖片和教師的幫助下理解對(duì)話大意,并回答教師根據(jù)對(duì)話所設(shè)計(jì)的問(wèn)題;能夠按照正解的語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)調(diào)及意群復(fù)述對(duì)話,并能進(jìn)行角色表演;能夠聽、說(shuō)、讀、寫,并在情景中運(yùn)用句型Before,I was… Now,I’m…對(duì)比過(guò)去和現(xiàn)在自己的變化;能夠在語(yǔ)境中理解different 和active的意思,并能正確發(fā)音;能夠描述自己朋友或家人的變化;通過(guò)對(duì)比過(guò)去和現(xiàn)在的生活方式和環(huán)境,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛生活、珍惜時(shí)間的意識(shí)、培養(yǎng)學(xué)生保護(hù)環(huán)境、珍惜幸福的優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)。
1.學(xué)生能在老師創(chuàng)設(shè)的情境中理解“different”的意思,并能聽、說(shuō)、讀寫句子Before, I was quiet. Now, I’m very active in class. Before , I was short, so I couldn’t ride my bike well. Now,I go cycling every day.
2.學(xué)生能通過(guò)對(duì)Let’s talk的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用Before, I was… Now ,I am …等描述自己與他人的變化。
小組活動(dòng)的有序開展以及匯報(bào)、表演環(huán)節(jié)的時(shí)間把握。
學(xué)生自制個(gè)人成長(zhǎng)歷程卡片;角色扮演Mike,Chen Jie , John 頭飾;板書的卡紙;多媒體課件。

1. Free talk T: Boys and girls, how are you ? What’s the weather like today? What was the weather like yesterday ? What were you like before ? What were you like five years ago ?

1.(PPT) 出示班里一個(gè)女同學(xué)現(xiàn)時(shí)的照片,T: Who is she? Guess.Ss: It is Bobo .
T: What was Bobo like before? Please come and look at her old photo.
T :(Show an old photo of her when she was a little child .)T: Look at Bobo . That’s so cute. Bobo is different now. What do you think of her before and now? Please say something different for her . (Using the drill :Before , she ______. Now, she
______.)
2.(PPT) 出示姚明現(xiàn)時(shí)很搞笑的照片,T: Who is the man? That’s so funny.
Ss: It is Yao Ming .
T: Yao Ming is tall and strong now . What was Yao Ming like before ? Please come and look at Yao Ming’s old photos.(Show the students some pictures of his old photos from a little child to a man ) .What do you think of him before and now?

T: Yao Ming changes a lot.He is so different now . How about Mike and John ? Are they so different now ? What were they like before ? How did they change? Let’s watch the video.
3.Watch the video of “l(fā)et’s talk” . Then show the questions for the students :
(1).What are they talking about ?
(2). What was Mike like before ? How about now?
(3). How did John change ?
(4).Read the dialogue in role
(5). Show a form for the student and ask them to discuss in groups and fill in the form.4.Make a report for Mike and John
