摘要:開發(fā)貼近學(xué)生實際、貼近生活、貼近時代的內(nèi)容健康豐富的電影,作為課程資源,筆者選用電影《指環(huán)王前傳:霍比特人》和人教版高中英語必修二第一單元詞匯,為本課型的內(nèi)容藍本。將單元詞匯單詞利用描述電影的大致情節(jié)。這不僅考驗教師專業(yè)視野“一缸水”的積累,同時也會促進教師身先垂范使用英語,提升英語的書面表達能力和創(chuàng)新力。

一、課程資源的開發(fā)與利用
新課標(biāo)提出:“英語課程要力求合理利用和積極開發(fā)課程資源,給學(xué)生提供貼近學(xué)生實際、貼近生活、貼近時代的內(nèi)容健康豐富的課程資源;要積極利用音像、電視、書刊、網(wǎng)絡(luò)信息等豐富的教學(xué)資源,拓展學(xué)習(xí)和運用英語的渠道?!?/p>
以影視作品為英語詞匯和寫作教學(xué)作鋪墊,能夠增強英語教學(xué)趣味性,有助于提高學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)動機和效率。圖文聲并茂,這樣可以激活學(xué)生的感知器官和注意力,影視語言展現(xiàn)交際場景的真實性,充分調(diào)動學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。把單元的詞匯運用放在真實的情境中進行描述,這無疑使語言學(xué)習(xí)十分真實自然,教師可以通過展現(xiàn)翻譯、寫作、閱讀、語法填空、頭腦風(fēng)暴、詞義猜測等不同形式,兼顧各層次的能力培養(yǎng)。
二、電影資源的利用實例
筆者在選擇電影資源時,以美國迪士尼電影公司出品的電影為首選,因為其作品展示的正能量價值觀很符合課堂教學(xué)?,F(xiàn)以人教版高中英語必修二第一單元單詞(加粗單詞)匯編寫的電影情節(jié)故事為例:
Once upon a time, there was an amazing dynasty where skilled people lived, they were called the dwarf矮人. The people were good at digging out gold, which they used and designed to build and decorate their fancy castle. One day, a powerful rare jewel was discovered, in return, their greed(貪婪) attracted吸引 a dragon that could spit吐 fire and love gold too. Then the entire country and the dragon were at war. In the end, the former king died and only less than 300 people survived, which was the final trial of their greed. The dragon stayed and slept in the castle that was belonged to the people. The survivors were the eyewitnesses and become workers in their neighbor country.
Five years later, there was an informal debate among some of the survivors. Some of them thought highly of the kings son, the prince, and wanted to have the prince to use the powerful jewel in order to kill the dragon and rebuild their kingdom. Some of them doubted whether they could beat the dragon. After the debate, they think it was worth making the last try. Finally, they selected a hobbit man to help them take back the jewel. Then they united as small troop and moved to the castle.
They removed the rocks in front of the gate, entered in. It was difficult to search a small jewel in the sea of gold, unluckily, the hobbit man was discovered by the dragon, his heart sank…at the very point, he saw the jewel. With the help of the magical ring, the dwarf took back the jewel and exploded the gold bomb; however, the dragon wasnt dead and escaped…
三、總結(jié)與反思
本課型遵循了語言學(xué)習(xí)的基本規(guī)律性流程:輸入―加工―輸出的三個環(huán)節(jié)。電影欣賞符合高中生心理水平發(fā)展和審美水平發(fā)展的層次。陶行知先生曾說:“從生活與教育的關(guān)系上說,是生活決定教育。從效力上說,教育要通過生活才能發(fā)出力量而成為真正的教育,教育又改造生活。”本課型以電影作為英語學(xué)習(xí)的載體,為英語學(xué)習(xí)和運用的搭建平臺,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生從身邊熟悉的電影利用英語。
