Step 1.Before-reading
1.游戲熱身,激活思維
Playa game:Say“Yeah,yeah,yeah”或“No,no,no”
將幾位教師的圖片及對(duì)應(yīng)描述教師的句子以幻燈片課件動(dòng)畫(huà)的形式依次播放,學(xué)生快速默讀句子并判斷對(duì)錯(cuò)。最后一張照片是學(xué)生本學(xué)期的足球模塊教師王老師,與之相對(duì)應(yīng)的句型是“Mr.Wang is an art teacher.”(見(jiàn)圖 1)學(xué)生說(shuō)出“No,no,no!”。

2.呈現(xiàn)插圖,導(dǎo)入主題
教師呈現(xiàn)故事的一幅插圖(見(jiàn)圖2),并順勢(shì)引出核心問(wèn)題。
T:Zip and Zoom’s new PE teacher willcome today.Can you guess:What does Zoom want to know about his new PE teacher?
教師提出問(wèn)題后,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生仔細(xì)觀察圖片,根據(jù)所給關(guān)鍵疑問(wèn)詞的提示學(xué)會(huì)自主提問(wèn)。
S1:Whoisthenew PE teacher?
S2:Is he tall?
S3:Can he play football?...

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)游戲?qū)肽軌蛘{(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的積極性,激發(fā)學(xué)生開(kāi)口說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的興趣,同時(shí)復(fù)習(xí)與鞏固本單元的重點(diǎn)單詞和句型,激活學(xué)生知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備。順勢(shì)導(dǎo)入,方式簡(jiǎn)潔直觀,通過(guò)關(guān)鍵詞的提示,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)提問(wèn),培養(yǎng)其發(fā)散思維能力。
Step 2.While-reading
1.觀察圖片,預(yù)測(cè)故事
教師借助多媒體呈現(xiàn)幾種動(dòng)物的圖片(見(jiàn)圖3),借機(jī)提問(wèn):Do you think who can be their new PE teacher?Why?
S1:I think the elephant is the new teacher.Because he is tall and strong.
Ss:...
學(xué)生根據(jù)自己的想象和預(yù)測(cè)發(fā)表自己的觀點(diǎn)。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生觀察圖片、預(yù)測(cè)故事,能夠迅速吸引學(xué)生的注意力。而且這種開(kāi)放性的問(wèn)題能夠激活學(xué)生思維,培養(yǎng)其想象力和綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力,并為接下來(lái)學(xué)生情感的培養(yǎng)做了很好的鋪墊。
2.觀看完整視頻,整體感知故事
T:Now let’s watch the flash and answer:Who isthe new PE teacher?
Ss:Mr.Rabbit.
讓學(xué)生完整觀看故事視頻,整體感知、理解故事。
3.依托核心問(wèn)題,激發(fā)思維碰撞
讓學(xué)生帶著問(wèn)題快速默讀故事,并依托課件中句型支架的提示,組織語(yǔ)言進(jìn)行回答(見(jiàn)圖4)。順勢(shì)對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行情感滲透:You can’t judge a book by its cover.
T:The rabbit is their new PE teacher.ButatfirstZoom doesn’t believe it.Why?Please think it over and you can discuss with your partners.

學(xué)生體會(huì)故事情感,有感情地朗讀句子。
T:So you can’tjudgea book by its cover.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:本故事主題鮮明、內(nèi)容集中,因此在呈現(xiàn)時(shí)采取了總—分—總的教學(xué)方法。首先讓學(xué)生完整感知故事,然后依托核心問(wèn)題,讓其帶著任務(wù)速讀,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的閱讀策略和學(xué)習(xí)方法,有助于其良好學(xué)習(xí)能力的培養(yǎng)。這個(gè)核心問(wèn)題也就是本節(jié)課的“故事眼”,通過(guò)這個(gè)故事眼順勢(shì)對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行情感教育:不能以貌取人。
4.突破難點(diǎn),升華情感
T:The rabbit is short and thin.But he can play football.Can he play football well?
Ss:Yes,he can.Because Mr.Rabbitgot10 goals,But Zoom only got 3 goals.
T:Can you play football well?Who wants to show?
讓擅長(zhǎng)踢足球的同學(xué)到前面進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的足球基本技能秀。
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:將所學(xué)內(nèi)容與學(xué)生生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)對(duì)接,激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣,調(diào)節(jié)課堂氣氛,同時(shí)讓學(xué)生了解足球比賽中比分的表達(dá)方式。
5.聽(tīng)音模仿,體味故事韻味
T:Now let’s watch and imitate this story.Please pay attention to yourpronunciation and intonation.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:教師播放故事視頻,讓學(xué)生一起跟讀錄音,學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用正確的語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)調(diào)和意群朗讀故事,感悟故事語(yǔ)言所蘊(yùn)含的情感。
Step 3.After-reading
1.角色扮演,體驗(yàn)故事
T:I love your voice.Now please practice in roles with your partner.
學(xué)生模仿故事中人物的語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)調(diào)、語(yǔ)氣和表情進(jìn)行分角色表演。
2.游戲拉動(dòng),梳理故事
T:Do you understand this story? Now please read and judge.(見(jiàn)圖5)

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)角色扮演、判斷對(duì)錯(cuò),讓學(xué)生在感性和理性層面對(duì)故事有更深層的理解與感悟。尤其在判讀對(duì)錯(cuò)時(shí),不僅僅從知識(shí)層面讓學(xué)生理解,更從故事情感方面有更好的滲透。
3.認(rèn)識(shí)球星,拓寬視野

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生了解中外足球界的幾位著名球星,增強(qiáng)學(xué)生的國(guó)家榮譽(yù)感和使命感,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生國(guó)際視野和家國(guó)情懷。
Step 4.Sum-up
T:Look at this picture.(見(jiàn)圖 7) Do you know who he is?What’s he like? If you don’t know,please guesswhat’she like?What can he do?
學(xué)生根據(jù)圖片中人物頭像,猜想人物的一些其他特征或能力。
