思維導(dǎo)圖是使用一個(gè)中央關(guān)鍵詞或想法引起形象化的構(gòu)造和分類的想法,以輻射線連接所有的代表字詞、想法、任務(wù)或其他關(guān)聯(lián)項(xiàng)目的圖解方式。本課將思維導(dǎo)圖應(yīng)用于英語故事教學(xué),以發(fā)揮其圖文并重、簡(jiǎn)單有效的優(yōu)點(diǎn),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生厘清知識(shí)脈絡(luò),快速記憶關(guān)鍵知識(shí)點(diǎn)。
教學(xué)過程
Step 1.Warm-up and leadin
1.Sing a song:“What do you want to do?”
T:Good morning,boys and girls.I’m yournew English teachertoday.Nice to meet you.I bring two new friends today.Zip and Zoom.(頭飾和名字貼黑板)I,Zip,oo,Zoom.What do Zip and Zoom like to eat?
S1:Zip likes nuts.
S2:Zoom likes honey.
若猜不出可引導(dǎo)學(xué)生思考《熊出沒》中熊二、毛毛喜歡的食物。
T:將蜂蜜和堅(jiān)果圖貼在黑板 兩邊)This lesson we’ll get someinformation aboutZoom and Zip.This group doyour best,you can get nuts for Zip.That group try hard,and you can get honey for Zoom.Let’s say“Come on”!
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過有關(guān)職業(yè)的歌曲熱身,用Free talk的形式引入本課主要人物,激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣的學(xué)習(xí),為他們加油鼓勁。
Step 2.Presentation
1.Review thenamesof jobs.
T:Now Zoom and Zip are talking about jobs.What does Zip want to be?Guess.
Ss:Zip wants to be a...
學(xué)生各種猜測(cè)后,教師PPT出示已經(jīng)學(xué)過的職業(yè)類詞匯,并齊讀復(fù)習(xí)。
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過猜測(cè)職業(yè)活動(dòng),啟發(fā)學(xué)生思維,復(fù)現(xiàn)學(xué)過的職業(yè)名稱。
2.引入文本核心詞“Unusual jobs”的學(xué)習(xí)。
(1)T:Just now we reviewed some words about jobs(出示詞卡學(xué)習(xí)jobs).There are many kinds of jobs around us.Each job is valuable.But today let’s see some unusual jobs.(用一張可折疊的詞卡依次出示usually-usual-unusualjobs)Look at the pictures.Do you know whatunusualjobsthey are?Can you find thejobs’names and underline them on your book?
教師用PPT出示Tip:在課本相應(yīng)職業(yè)名稱下畫線,同時(shí)在黑板上貼出五種職業(yè)詞卡圖。
(2)Discuss in groups,try tolearn thenew wordsfrom each other.Then chooseone word to teach others.教師教學(xué)不會(huì)的詞(滲透發(fā)音)。
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:第一遍讀故事,整體感知文本大意,找出相應(yīng)職業(yè)類詞匯,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生抓取關(guān)鍵信息的能力。然后小組合作學(xué)習(xí)生詞,培養(yǎng)自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生當(dāng)小老師到臺(tái)前教其他學(xué)生,教師只補(bǔ)充不會(huì)的詞,如“magician’s assistant”。
(3)跟讀詞匯,同位練讀。
(4)Watch the video and answer questions.
觀看故事視頻后,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答:Does Zip want to be a lion tamer/beefarmer/game tester/magician’s assistant/nut cracker?
Why?Why not?Read the story again and find outthe reasons.Circle the reasons.
T:Does Zip want to be a lion tamer? No,she doesn’t.Why?To train the animals like a lion,a tiger,an elephant are too dangerous!(分音節(jié)教學(xué)dangerous,并將“Too dangerous”句型卡貼黑板“l(fā)ion tamer”對(duì)應(yīng)位置。)
What about a bee farmer?Why not?The bees fly everywhere.They maybe you’re your face or your brain.May be you will get stung.It’s painful.(肢體語言幫助理解get stung并將“I will get stung.”句型卡貼于黑板“bee farmer”對(duì)應(yīng)位置。)
How about a computer game tester?Does Zip like that?Why not?She can play games all day.Do you like that job?Someone says “yes, it’s interesting”.Someone says“no,it’s boring.”Zip says“I like to study.I don’t like computer games.”(將“I like to study.”句型卡貼于黑板“game tester”對(duì)應(yīng)位置。)
DoesZip wanttobea magician’s assistant?You know Liu Qian is a magician,Dong Qing is sometimes a magician’s assistant.Why not?Zip says“I don’t like that.”(貼句型在相應(yīng)位置。)
What does she want to be indeed?A nut cracker.Why?Because she likes eating nuts.
The nuts are delicious and healthy.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:第二遍觀看視頻再讀文本,使學(xué)生更全面、細(xì)致地學(xué)習(xí)文本細(xì)節(jié),找出喜歡與不喜歡各種職業(yè)的理由這種更深層次的問題答案。
Step 3.Consolidation
1.師生分別扮演Zoom和Zip,根據(jù)黑板上的Mind map進(jìn)行對(duì)話,簡(jiǎn)單復(fù)述文本內(nèi)容。
2.Let’s match.
3.Listen and imitate Picture 1-3,point your book.
Ask 1 group to come to the front.1 pupilforZoom,the other3 forZip.Actthe 3 pictures.Then check another group.
Listen, repeat and act Picture 4-6.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:第四遍跟讀模仿,將故事分成兩部分進(jìn)行讀和演的活動(dòng),有效降低了輸出的難度,也有利于角色的分配。從語音、語調(diào)、意群停頓等方面對(duì)學(xué)生加以指導(dǎo),使其養(yǎng)成良好的閱讀習(xí)慣。
Step 4.Extension
Watch a video about Zoom and Zip.
T:Do you want to see what happened then? Watch the video.Then you can make a new story you like.Using these jobs and expressions on PPT.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:播放課前錄制的學(xué)生體驗(yàn)《比如世界》的視頻,給上課學(xué)生以語言和角色的引導(dǎo)。將職業(yè)類詞匯與本課所用表達(dá)法綜合運(yùn)用,學(xué)生在自主提問、思考、選擇的過程中內(nèi)化了語言結(jié)構(gòu),做到了自然、真實(shí)、有效的輸出。
Step 5.Summary
1.請(qǐng)學(xué)生總結(jié)本課所學(xué)關(guān)于Jobs的詞及常用表達(dá)法:What do you want to be?I want to be...Whatabout...? How about...?
2.進(jìn)行情感滲透。
Kinds ofjobs,usualor unusualare allvaluable and required to us.
Every kind of job,whether it is hard or easy should be done by some people.
So choose the one fits you and you are interested in and try your best from now on.
Step 6.Homework
若課上沒有足夠時(shí)間,就將去《比如世界》的故事續(xù)編活動(dòng)放在課下完成,或者將自己所編故事說給家長聽。
