The Display of the Magnificent Nature of the Visegrád Group

The nature photography exhibition “Natural Treasures of the Visegrád Group” was unveiled in the Eling Park on April 8th. Gergely Kadar， Consul-General of Hungary in Chongqing and Li Mingquan， Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government delivered remarks at the opening ceremony. Katerina Vovkova， Consul-General of the Czech Republic in Chengdu and Grzegorz Morawski， Consul-General of Poland in Chengdu made remarks via video link. Qin Dingbo， Deputy Director-General of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development and Gong Xiaoxue， Deputy Chairperson of Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang and relevant departments， as well as consular officials of the United Kingdom， Japan， the Netherlands， Italy， the Philippines， Uruguay and other countries in Chongqing attended the event.

Gergely Kadar said that the picturesque Eling Park perfectly fits in with the theme of this photo exhibition， which will enhance Chongqing peoples understanding of Visegrád Group.

In his speech， Li Mingquan expressed his gratitude to Visegrád Group and its diplomatic and consular agencies in China for their efforts to promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and European countries， and said that this exhibition will inject new impetus to people-to-people exchanges between Chongqing and Visegrád Group.

The nature photography exhibition “Natural Treasures of the Visegrád Group” is co-hosted by the Consulate-General of Hungary in Chongqing and the Consulates-General of Poland and the Czech Republic in Chengdu， co-organized by the naturArt - Hungarian Association of Nature Photographers and the Thematic Painting Creation Center of Central Painting Academy of Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang， and supported by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government， Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development and Yuzhong District Government.

A total of 60 nature photographs are displayed in the exhibition， showing the magnificent spectacle of Visegrád Group. Those photographs demonstrate the diversity and abundance of natural sceneries in those countries， thereby arousing peoples awareness of environmental protection. The exhibition has also opened 2022 Hungarian Cultural Festival Spring of Budapest.

The Visegrád Group （also known as the Visegrád Four， the V4） is a regional alliance of four countries： Hungary， Poland， the Czech Republic， and Slovakia. The alliance aims to boost the common interests of its member states in the European Union， support the stability of its neighboring countries and promote its development across the world. Hungary held the rotating presidency of the Group from 2021 to 2022. With the slogan of “Charging Europe”， it aims at restarting the economy of this region after the pandemic， focusing on sustainability， climate policy and green economy transformation.

4月8日，“維謝格拉德集團(tuán)國(guó)家自然寶藏”自然照片展在重慶鵝嶺公園拉開(kāi)帷幕，匈牙利駐渝總領(lǐng)事葛凱達(dá)、市政府外辦副主任李明全在開(kāi)幕式上致辭，捷克駐成都總領(lǐng)事卡特瑞娜、波蘭駐成都總領(lǐng)事莫戈蒔視頻致辭。市文化旅游委副主任秦定波、民革市委副主委龔小雪等市相關(guān)單位代表以及英國(guó)、日本、荷蘭、意大利、菲律賓、烏拉圭等國(guó)駐渝領(lǐng)事官員參加活動(dòng)。

葛凱達(dá)表示，風(fēng)景宜人的鵝嶺公園非常契合本次自然照片展的主題，本次展覽將增進(jìn)重慶市民對(duì)維謝格拉德集團(tuán)國(guó)家的了解。

李明全在致辭中對(duì)維謝格拉德集團(tuán)國(guó)家及其駐華外交領(lǐng)事機(jī)構(gòu)為助推重慶與歐洲國(guó)家友好交流合作所作出的努力表示感謝，寄語(yǔ)本次展覽將為推動(dòng)重慶與維謝格拉德集團(tuán)國(guó)家之間民心相通發(fā)揮新的積極作用。

“維謝格拉德集團(tuán)國(guó)家自然寶藏”自然照片展由匈牙利駐重慶總領(lǐng)事館、波蘭駐成都總領(lǐng)事館和捷克駐成都總領(lǐng)事館共同主辦，匈牙利自然攝影師協(xié)會(huì)和民革中央畫院主題畫創(chuàng)作中心協(xié)辦，市政府外辦、市文化旅游委和渝中區(qū)人民政府支持舉辦。

照片展共展出60幅展示維謝格拉德集團(tuán)地區(qū)自然美景的照片，展示其自然風(fēng)光的多樣性和豐富性，傳遞自然之美，喚起大眾對(duì)自然環(huán)保的共鳴與關(guān)注。本次展覽也拉開(kāi)了2022年匈牙利布達(dá)佩斯之春活動(dòng)的序幕。

維謝格拉德集團(tuán)（V4）是由匈牙利、波蘭、捷克和斯洛伐克4個(gè)國(guó)家成立的區(qū)域聯(lián)盟。V4國(guó)家相互合作促進(jìn)其在歐盟的共同利益，支持各鄰國(guó)的穩(wěn)定，并在全球范圍內(nèi)促進(jìn)該地區(qū)的發(fā)展。匈牙利于2021—2022年擔(dān)任該集團(tuán)輪值主席國(guó)，其口號(hào)是“給歐洲充電”，旨在支持該地區(qū)疫情后的經(jīng)濟(jì)重啟，重點(diǎn)關(guān)注可持續(xù)性、氣候政策和綠色經(jīng)濟(jì)轉(zhuǎn)型。
