教學內(nèi)容:
魯教版義務教育教科書《英語》(五四學制)八年級下冊Unit 2? Its a nice day, isnt it? Section B? 2b-2c涉及的語法點為反義疑問句。通過Section A部分的鋪墊學習,學生已經(jīng)對反義疑問句有了初步的認識,能夠用其進行基本的對話。本節(jié)課的話題“閑聊”則以閱讀課的形式讓學生以全新的視角學習反義疑問句在文章中的應用,從而引導學生可以運用簡短的文章來描述如何在特定場合用適當?shù)脑掝}開始閑聊,培養(yǎng)與陌生人交流的能力。
教學目標:
1.語言知識目標:
學習重點詞匯:everyday, introduction, dialog, period, empty, business, basic, private, subject,avoid,form,worker,helpful,customer,light,humorous
學習重點短語:small talk, break the ice, empty silence,wait in line
掌握重點句型:make sb. do sth.和Its +adj+for sb.+ to do sth.,達到聽、說、讀、寫四會,并熟練使用目標句型。
2.語言技能目標:學會如何與陌生人展開交談。
3.情感態(tài)度目標:通過對“閑話”的初步學習,使學生了解不同文化背景下對于閑聊的認識以及適當?shù)倪x擇閑聊內(nèi)容,培養(yǎng)與陌生人交流的能力,進而幫助學生們學會傾聽與共情。
教學重點:
掌握重點詞匯,通過一系列閱讀理解活動理解反義疑問句的含義,掌握其結構并能熟練運用。

T: Good morning , my class.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
T:? Weve learned the tag question before.But do you know when we usually use it?
Ss:No.
T: We usually use it to introduce a small talk.But what is small talk? Lets watch a video clip to learn about it and then answer the two questions on the screen.
Ss: OK.

T: OK.Whos got the answers?
S1: Small talk is a kind of short conversation between strangers.
S2: We usually talk about weather, hobbies or something else in small talk.
T: Correct.So today were going to learn more about small talk.
設計意圖:學生通過觀看有關于閑話的短片,初步了解閑話的功能。讓學生初步感知它的用法,為下面的學習打好基礎。
Step Ⅱ Pre-reading
T:? We can see there is a picture and a title in this passage.They are very important.We can predict what we will read .
S3: Maybe we will learn how to use a small talk.
S4:We may also learn when we should use it.

設計意圖:讓學生根據(jù)文章標題及插圖猜測文章大意,然后通過聽力練習檢驗自己的猜測并找出各段小標題。激發(fā)學生的好奇心,為閱讀訓練做好鋪墊。

T:? Weve just used a new reading strategy to get the main idea of the passage.That is Predicting using topic sentences.But if we want to know more ,we have to read it again carefully.Now lets turn to next task--scanning.Please read the first paragraph carefully and try to fill in the chart.

設計意圖:通過兩種閱讀技巧引出的六種閱讀任務,層層遞進,由簡到難,讓學生迅速抓住文章重點,了解文章大意,完成相關練習。各項任務形式不同,參照中考閱讀題型設置,讓學生真正地在閱讀課上得到實戰(zhàn)練習,提前熟悉中考題型。

設計意圖:讓學生根據(jù)思維導圖能夠自己復述出small talk的安全話題、禮貌引語以及特點。為課后背誦做鋪墊。以小組接龍競賽的形式完成全班范圍的口語操練,讓每一名學生都有機會開口說英語。既有競爭的趣味性,又能在最短時間內(nèi)讓更多的人參與到課堂中來。

設計意圖:作業(yè)分層布置,更能體現(xiàn)出因材施教。讓每一個學生都能完成適合自己水平的作業(yè)。
反思:
閱讀課是初中英語的教學重點,中考中閱讀的分數(shù)比重也是比較大的。教師在日常的閱讀教學中,要不斷鉆研、學習,給學生呈現(xiàn)出一節(jié)節(jié)精彩紛呈的閱讀課。本堂課采用了多種教學手段,如啟發(fā)法、演示法等,循序漸進地幫助學生感知、熟悉、掌握small talk的用法。隨著信息技術在閱讀課的廣泛應用,我也不斷地嘗試在閱讀教學中多采用多媒體教學手段,以求更好地調(diào)動學生的學習興趣。本節(jié)課通過視頻導入讓學生初步了解什么是small talk,通過語境提示幫助學生透徹理解與應用small talk,既給學生提供原汁原味的英語學習素材,也讓學生在學習中更本土化地了解國外的風俗習慣。
一系列精心編寫的中考題型的練習題讓本堂閱讀課做到了閱讀并能理解其義。提前感知中考,熟悉題型。讓學生在讀中練,練中提。讀前預測、課后總結等都體現(xiàn)了“以學生為主體,以教師為主導”的教學原則。復述活動以小組PK的形式進行,增加了學生的參與興趣,調(diào)動了全班學生的參與度。做到了學以致用,使學生的聽說讀寫能力得到了鍛煉,培養(yǎng)了英語思維。
