Hmm, I had become the student. At that moment, I realized that even though I was wearing the“mother's hat”, the “hat” certainly didn't make me right all the time. In fact, I wanted to pull that hat over my face and hide so that they couldn't see myembarrassedlook.
“Yes, that's a good point,” I commented, forcing a half smile at my girls.“Abby, you handle this situation the way that you think is right.”“OK,” she said, giving me a quick hug before walking out of the door and off to school. “Bye, Mom! ” Allyson called, following her big sister to go out of the door. I was left alone—in my slippers. In those following quiet moments I was lost in thought and proud of my two remarkable daughters—little instaturebut big in heart. Sometimes our children have great lessons to teach us—if we'll only listen.
That lesson came more than ten years ago, and this past weekend as we celebrated Mother's Day,I reflected once again on how much I have learned from my children over the years. These made excellent material for an amateur writer like me!

已給出的文本主要記敘的是“作者從她的孩子們身上學到了不少東西”,由此可推斷出本文的立意應(yīng)是“父母也應(yīng)該向孩子學習”。
第二步,圍繞續(xù)寫第一段所給出的段首句及上面的分析進行提問構(gòu)思:

(3)How did the author feel about what Abby had done for her?
第三步,圍繞續(xù)寫第二段所給出的段首句進行提問構(gòu)思:
