通過(guò)對(duì)修訂的《高中英語(yǔ)課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》研讀,新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)將英語(yǔ)學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)分為四個(gè)方面:語(yǔ)言能力,文化意識(shí),思維品質(zhì)和學(xué)習(xí)能力。而英語(yǔ)閱讀技能作為學(xué)生獲取知識(shí)和信息的重要途徑,是高中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的核心部分閱讀能力強(qiáng)的學(xué)生寫(xiě)作能力也會(huì)更強(qiáng)。因此,本文通過(guò)一個(gè)具體的教學(xué)案例來(lái)探索如何有效閱讀,并把閱讀能力融入到語(yǔ)言能力學(xué)習(xí)中以促進(jìn)學(xué)習(xí)能力的有效提升。
Epidemics Explained是北師大版教材模塊七的最后一個(gè)單元中的閱讀課,介紹瘟疫在歷史上的流行和發(fā)展,學(xué)生通過(guò)閱讀課文,了解文章中的一些科普知識(shí)并掌握閱讀科普文的技巧。
1.教學(xué)目標(biāo) Teaching objectives:
Language abilities(語(yǔ)言能力): Students can master the new words in this lesson and practice using it to deal with the exercises. Meanwhile, get familiar with the reading strategies.
Culture qualities(文化意識(shí)): Students are able to grasp the features and effects of various epidemics in the history and get to know the importance of handling epidemics..
Thinking qualities(思維品質(zhì)): Get students to know how to get the main idea of the text they have read and understand what they can learn from the text.
Learning abilities(學(xué)習(xí)能力): Students are able to make full use of reading strategies and learn how to sequence information.

7. 教學(xué)步驟設(shè)計(jì)Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Lead-in導(dǎo)入 The teacher presents a video to arouse students’ interest in the topic--- Epidemics Explained.
Step 2 New words生 詞 Ask a question according to the context and pictures, can you guess the meaning of the new words.輔助學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)課文中的新詞,為理解課文內(nèi)容做準(zhǔn)備。
Step 3 Practice練 習(xí)Ask students to practice using new words.通過(guò)小組活動(dòng)的形式鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生積極參與課堂活動(dòng)和任務(wù)解答。
Step 4 Reading閱讀 The teacher guides the students to get to know the reading skills- sequencing of information.
Get students to match the five passages from A-E with the gaps 3.5.8.10.12.
Read the text carefully and then ask students to find out the detailed information to fill in the table.活動(dòng)以個(gè)體思考和集體討論結(jié)合的方式培養(yǎng)學(xué)生閱讀能力,指導(dǎo)學(xué)生仔細(xì)閱讀文章并找出細(xì)節(jié)信息回答問(wèn)題。
Step 5 Consolidation鞏 固Encourage students to think about the purpose of the text and then ask some to present the answers.鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生們討論寫(xiě)作文章的目的。
Step 6 Discussion討 論Show students a public-service advertisement about epidemics and ask them how to keep away with epidemics in our daily life小組討論怎么預(yù)防傳染病以引發(fā)思考。
Step 7 Homework 作 業(yè)Write a passage about how to prevent epidemics.學(xué)以致用以訓(xùn)練學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)能力。
本節(jié)課是閱讀課的一次很好的探索,通過(guò)課后反思總結(jié)出以下幾點(diǎn):
1.閱讀是英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的重要環(huán)節(jié),因此教師在閱讀教學(xué)中應(yīng)該落實(shí)實(shí)踐英語(yǔ)學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)以促進(jìn)學(xué)生英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言能力,文化意識(shí),思維品質(zhì)和語(yǔ)言能力的有效提高。
2.自主合作探究。課堂上應(yīng)該多采用小組協(xié)作的學(xué)習(xí)方式以提高學(xué)生協(xié)作能力的提高。在進(jìn)行閱讀時(shí)要求學(xué)生通過(guò)相互合作的方式促進(jìn)他們發(fā)現(xiàn)問(wèn)題,探究問(wèn)題和解決問(wèn)題的能力。
總之,在核心素養(yǎng)理念下高中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中,教師要把培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)能力作為教學(xué)的重要目標(biāo),在教學(xué)過(guò)程中為學(xué)生發(fā)展學(xué)習(xí)能力創(chuàng)造有利條件,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí),合作學(xué)習(xí)和探究學(xué)習(xí)的能力。只有結(jié)合教學(xué)內(nèi)容和師生實(shí)際,與新課程改革所倡導(dǎo)的理念有機(jī)結(jié)合,才能最大限度地發(fā)揮其優(yōu)勢(shì),有效促進(jìn)教學(xué)。
