Wuhan has a special geographical feature. There are two rivers in Wuhan, the Yangtze River and the Han River. They divide Wuhan into three parts. This geographical feature is very uncommon. It also determines that the most efficient means of crossing the river is trying to build bridges. So, there are a lot of bridges in Wuhan.
Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is the most famous bridge in Wuhan. Its also the first bridge on the Yangtze River and it is 62 years old this year. Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is located between Sheshan and Guishan. It is the first highway-railway combined bridge built on the Yangtze River after the founding of New China. Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge combines the three towns of Wuhan into one, which greatly promotes the economic and social development of Wuhan. At the same time, the bridge separates the Yangtze River, Beijing-Hankou Railway and Canton-Hankow Railway, thus forming a complete Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, which has played an important role in promoting the economic development of North and South China.
Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge is also a bridge over the Yangtze River in Wuhan. Its a cable-stayed bridge. The bridge in Wuhan is located 2.3 km upstream of Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. This bridge connects Parrot Avenue in Hanyang to the north and Fuxing Road in Wuchang to the south. The bridge is the eighth Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan. Its a two-way eight-lane bridge. Its also the worlds first three-tower and four span suspension bridge with continuous main cables, and the three-tower and four-span suspension bridges with the largest span in the world. Construction of the bridge started in August, 2010, and was officially completed and opened on December 28, 2014.
This bridge gives me the deepest impression. Every weekend, when we drive from home to school, we will pass this bridge, so its special to me.

鸚鵡洲長江大橋也是武漢長江上的一座橋梁。那是一座斜拉橋。這座橋位于長江大橋上游2.3公里處。這座橋北接漢陽鸚鵡大道,南接武昌復(fù)興路。這座橋是武漢的第八座長江大橋。它是一座雙向八車道的橋,是世界上第一座主纜連續(xù)的三塔四跨懸索橋,也是世界上跨度最大的三塔四跨懸索橋。大橋于2010年8月開工建設(shè),于2014年12月28日正式竣工通車。
這座橋給我的印象最深刻。每個(gè)周末,當(dāng)我們開車從家到學(xué)校,我們都會經(jīng)過這座橋。所以,它對我來說很特別。
