Everyone has his or her own hobby. Collection is the one in which many people are interesting①. My hobby is collecting coins of different nations.

I collect coins because I treasure them as the works of art. Most coins have a head portrait cast on the front side of it， such as American coins with the portraits of George Washington， Abraham Lincoln， British coins with Elizabeth II， and some others② people who were famous in history. Some coins have the designs of buildings， animals and plants.

I collect coins also because I like the process of collection. A long period of time is needed in gathering one nations whole set of coins. It is very difficult of③ me to find the very coin I want. Sometimes I obtained a coin but I didnt know which nation it came from， I must therefore look around for books or ask some friends. How happy I was when I finally found its value.

I have accumulated a great deal of knowledges④ about the history and culture of different nations from these small coins. The coins will be my spiritual wealth in my lifetime.

1. 優(yōu)點(diǎn)：

這篇文章結(jié)構(gòu)合理，體現(xiàn)了形式和內(nèi)容的統(tǒng)一。每段各有重點(diǎn)，但始終不離主題。另外，準(zhǔn)確的詞語(yǔ)表達(dá)和句型的多樣化也為文章增添了不少色彩。

2. 需要修改的地方：

①interesting改為interested。interesting用來(lái)形容事物，interested用來(lái)形容人。

②others去掉s。這里要用形容詞other來(lái)修飾后面的people。

③of改為for，此處意為“對(duì)……來(lái)說(shuō)……”。

④knowledges去掉s。knowledge為不可數(shù)名詞。

3. 評(píng)分：

按中考英語(yǔ)作文滿(mǎn)分15分的評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，本文修改后可得12分。
