教學目標及要求:
1.能夠聽、說、認讀單詞:blanket, vest, tie,handkerchief, button.
2.能夠聽懂、會說句型It can be made into a …,并能在實際情境中運用。
3.能理解、朗讀繪本故事。
4.培養(yǎng)學生勤儉節(jié)約的美德。

教學過程:
Step1 Warming up and Revision.
1.Sing a song“Who is wearing yellow today”
Step2 Presentation
1. T: Today is cool, so Miss Pan is wearing a yellow coat, and I bring a blanket, too. (拿出毯子)Look at the blanket, it is nice.
(板書Look at the … It is …)
教授blanket, 領讀并操練,將單詞和圖片貼于黑板上,為接下來的繪本教學做準備。
2.T: Look at me, I fold the blanket, What is it?(教師將毯子折疊,變成手帕) It’s a handkerchief.教授單詞Handkerchief. 由于這個單詞教授是難點,故采用拍節(jié)奏的方式來記憶這個單詞,同時PPT展示各種手帕圖片,幫助學生理解。最后將handkerchief的卡片貼于黑板上,為繪本教學做準備。
3.將事先準備的圓形放在實物手帕下面,T: Look,what is it? It’s a button. 教師指著自己外套上的紐扣,Look at my button, it is yellow. PPT展示各種卡通的紐扣,教授單詞,領讀,齊讀,個別讀。T: My button is yellow, what about yours? 將問題拋給學生,讓學生說一說自己的button. 最后,將button的單詞卡貼于黑板上,為接下來的繪本教學做準備。
將剛才新授的三個單詞blanket, handkerchief,button編成一個chant: Look at the handkerchief, it is dirty. Look at the button, it is small. Look at the blanket, it is nice. 第一句中出現(xiàn)dirty, 用“bird, shirt, skirt”幫助學生來發(fā)dirty中“ir”的讀音,旁邊注上中文解釋。
4.讀完Chant,T: I have a blanket, it’s very nice. And my friend John has a blanket, too.Look!(PPT出現(xiàn)繪本的封面),this is my friend, John,and this is John’s grandpa. PPT出現(xiàn)課題,將題目卡片貼于黑板上Let’s read the story together,Ok? When John was a baby, his grandpa gave him a blanket. PPT出示故事第一段.
5.T: John grows and grows, one day, his mom says,繪本對話,引出Let me throw it out. 讓學生跟著教師做一做動作,理解throw out的意思。再教授It can be made into a coat. 將單詞卡coat貼于黑板上。教授It can be made into a …(板書:It can be made into a …)通過PPT展示樹木制成木屋、木船和椅子等,幫助理解句子意思。教師拿出一張白紙,It can be made into a … 教師將紙飛機拿出示范,It can be made into a plane. What can it be made into? 請學生來說一說,進行拓展。教師領讀段落,注意人物角色及語氣,齊讀。
6. T: Many days later, the coat is too small to John, so mom says…引出vest, PPT展示,“e, e, e, /e/, /e/, /e/”, vest, It can be made into a vest.將單詞卡vest貼于黑板上。有了前面的鋪墊,這個段落可以直接讓學生齊讀。
7. T: John likes the vest very much. One day,his mom says…Look at the_____, it is small. It can be made into a _____. 請學生來填空,教授tie,并貼于黑板上。齊讀段落。
Step3 Practice and consolation
1. Read the whole story follow the teacher.注意各個角色的語氣和語速。
2. Act the story with partners.和搭檔一起讀一讀,演一演
3. Choose one favorite scene to act.選擇自己喜歡的一段演一演
4. PPT出示格言“The love of economy is the root of all virtue”(節(jié)約是一切美德的根源)
