【教學(xué)內(nèi)容】
The Three Gorges Dam是外語教學(xué)與研究出版社《英語》(新標準)高中必修3第6模塊的閱讀課文。這篇課文簡要介紹了三峽大壩的相關(guān)歷史、基本信息并分析了其修建的優(yōu)缺點。
文章篇幅不長,難度適中,內(nèi)容對于學(xué)生們而言也是非常熟悉的。本堂課以介紹一首關(guān)于三峽的古詩的英譯版本開始,引出本堂課的主題并激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習興趣;然后展示了一些關(guān)于三峽及三峽大壩的圖片,使得學(xué)生對即將學(xué)習的內(nèi)容有一個直觀的了解。在做好充分的準備工作后,我組織學(xué)生進行快速閱讀,劃分文章框架,把握文章大意。接下來的精讀中,我基于文章每部分設(shè)置了一些問題,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在找到答案的同時對課文進行進一步的理解。之后,通過兩種鞏固練習,使學(xué)生們能夠深化對文章的理解。
【教學(xué)目標】
語言知識:學(xué)生通過學(xué)習三峽大壩的文章,知道從幾方面進行敘述建筑物以及如何敘述,從而寫出描述五星花園下穿隧道工程的文章。
語言技能:
1. 學(xué)習這篇介紹三峽大壩的文章,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生速讀、細讀的閱讀技能;
2. 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生借助舊知識來處理新知識的能力;
3. 能從文章中獲取和處理主要信息;
4. 能訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的記憶能力,學(xué)完課文后,即能復(fù)述文章大意。
學(xué)習策略:培養(yǎng)良好的自主學(xué)習、合作探究精神。
文化意識:增進對三峽大壩的全面了解。
情感態(tài)度:為大壩成功建成自豪。

I. Pre-reading

Share some pictures of the Three Gorges and a poem describing the Three Gorges and then pictures of the Three Gorges Dam with students.
(設(shè)計意圖:通過圖片以及學(xué)生已有的知識,激發(fā)學(xué)生了解三峽及三峽大壩更多信息的興趣,從而愉快地進入這篇描寫三峽大壩的文章。)

【教學(xué)反思】
1.學(xué)生上課回答問題可能不夠積極主動。當回答簡單問題時害怕被同學(xué)嘲笑,回答復(fù)雜問題時害怕出錯。教師一定要鼓勵學(xué)生踴躍舉手,珍惜每次上課發(fā)言的機會。就回答問題的同學(xué)給予及時的指導(dǎo)與表揚。
2.學(xué)生在相互討論the undercrossing tunnel這一話題時,可能會出現(xiàn)說中文,聊與本討論無關(guān)的話題或保持沉默等情況,遇到這種情況一定要走到他身邊小聲提醒。
3.分段以及總結(jié)大意對學(xué)生來說,可能有點難度,要給學(xué)生足夠的時間思考。
4.板書設(shè)計最右邊的生單詞部分,需要根據(jù)上課情況書寫,因此板書設(shè)計沒有寫完。
