Little House with a Big Terrace的屋主要求能夠在太陽底下做瑜珈,建筑師于是細(xì)心思量,在有限的空間劃出陽臺(tái),探索東京住宅戶外空間的各種可能。
The gigantic white cube stands eerily in suburban Tokyo. In Little House with a Big Terrace, architect proves that a spacious external space is possible in a modest residence, and as such, expanding the possibilities of outdoor activity. The big outdoor terrace fulfils the client’s request to do yoga under the sun.The living room opens to the terrace, separated by a large glass panel, bringing natural lights in while opening up indoor space to outside. The windowless wall directed towards the neighbouring building provides a degree of privacy. To make up for the lost of indoor space, an attic was inserted between the first floor and the second to increase the amount of practicable space for storage.
