地瓜小區(qū)將北京空置的防空洞，改造成一系列共享文化空間，以分享為主軸。項目以“地瓜”為名，喻意人際間如地瓜的根莖般相互聯(lián)系，組成小區(qū)。地瓜小區(qū)能提供優(yōu)越的條件，讓成員在地下空間提升自己，就像地瓜受著最少的干預(yù)于土壤中生長。

The Digua Community repurposes subterraneous air raid shelters in Beijing into a series of communalspaces, and uses them as a site and vector for sharing.The project’s name Digua means “sweet potato” in Chinese which is a metaphor for the rhizomatic spaces that are interconnected and form a community of microsites, people, and activities. Under favourable conditions, the Digua Community is expected to flourish as members invest in these underground spaces on their own, just as sweet potatoes grow in the soil often with minimal intervention.
