摘 要:通過(guò)對(duì)rapping在初中低年級(jí)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中的實(shí)踐,構(gòu)建rapping教學(xué)的策略,通過(guò)學(xué)生重復(fù)rap韻律和歌詞熟記單詞和語(yǔ)法運(yùn)用規(guī)則,使其掌握重點(diǎn)。

一、目前說(shuō)唱英語(yǔ)在英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中的研究
1.語(yǔ)音教學(xué)中的運(yùn)用
語(yǔ)音說(shuō)唱將語(yǔ)音和拼讀法融入說(shuō)唱中,幫助學(xué)生進(jìn)行語(yǔ)音及拼讀訓(xùn)練,幫助學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)英語(yǔ)構(gòu)詞和拼讀規(guī)律 。如教授/ei /和/i:/時(shí),設(shè)計(jì)說(shuō)唱如下:
A / ei /、a / ei /,this is a cake;a / ei /、a / ei /,this is a lake;
2.句型教學(xué)中的運(yùn)用
除通過(guò)必要的對(duì)話練習(xí)外,說(shuō)唱是一個(gè)有力的補(bǔ)充。例如,在教授“Where is the ?句型”時(shí),通過(guò)拍手、跺腳及Rock風(fēng)格的樂(lè)曲伴奏等表現(xiàn)Rap的節(jié)奏感。例如:
Clock,clock,wheres the clock? Its on the table.
Pencil,pencil,wheres the pencil? Its in the pencil case.
二、Rapping教學(xué)的實(shí)施
首先,教師可通過(guò)歌曲片段讓學(xué)生熟悉Rapping的特點(diǎn),適應(yīng)其較快的唱誦速度。以其中Eminem的Rapping歌曲“Without me”為例,選取其中一段歌詞如下:
So the FCC wont let me be
Or let me be me, so let me see
They try to shut me down on MTV
But it feels so empty, without me
畫(huà)線部分字母以元音/i:/發(fā)音押韻,使整個(gè)段落極富韻律。其次,let me be…這個(gè)句型的重復(fù)也使歌曲更朗朗上口。而let sb. do/be sth. ,feel+adj.的結(jié)構(gòu)正是中考必考知識(shí)點(diǎn),
以“Pets”為例,歌詞如下:
Emma and Matt are a nice couple
But now they are both in a ‘battle
Is having a pet agreeable?
Opinions are written in the article
Emma is really a dog lover
Shed like to raise a cute puppy
She says its nice to pick it up.
Its wonderful to see it grow up quickly
A dog is really a good teacher
It teaches you to take responsibility
Through feeding , training and playing with it
Youre not afraid of difficulty
You care for the life in the city
You also learn to respect each other
So why not keep a little pet dog?
Its going to love you faithfully
Honey, honey, youre not listening to me.
Matt says hes afraid he cant agree
首先,歌詞中黑體單詞是學(xué)生未能掌握到位的詞匯,其中couple,raise,create都是拼寫(xiě)容易犯錯(cuò)的單詞,在通過(guò)的單詞的不斷唱誦來(lái)加深語(yǔ)音的印象,同時(shí)通過(guò)發(fā)音相似的押韻單詞如article, battle進(jìn)行歸類比較,便于聯(lián)想,產(chǎn)生知識(shí)的遷移。
其次,其中將部分詞組的用法編入歌詞。比如:make sb.+adj./make sb. do sth.是學(xué)生經(jīng)常犯的錯(cuò)誤,raise作為詞匯辨析的重點(diǎn)詞匯,將raise a pet dog和同義詞組keep a pet dog編入歌詞??季V單詞dear, leave一詞多義,將dear所包含的昂貴和親愛(ài)的編入同一句歌詞,以便進(jìn)行比較和體會(huì),而leave的另一種解釋“遺留、拉下”之意經(jīng)常被學(xué)生所遺忘,因此編寫(xiě)了leave fur and hair on your beds這句歌詞。
同時(shí),考綱詞組如pick up, grow up,care for,take responsibility,each other, learn to do,forget to do,teach sb. to do sth. listen to sb. see sb. do sth. be afraid of被編入歌詞,在歌詞的編寫(xiě)過(guò)程中,將基本的句型和語(yǔ)法進(jìn)行再次講解,重溫知識(shí)點(diǎn)。比如:Its wonderful to see it grow up quickly.(不定式的常用句型),Why not keep a little pet dog?(學(xué)生經(jīng)常犯錯(cuò)的句型)。 Id better not keep a pet dog. (had better not do sth.學(xué)生經(jīng)常犯錯(cuò)的句型)。
三、Rapping在初中英語(yǔ)單詞教學(xué)應(yīng)用的實(shí)施效果
Rapping歌曲的歌詞內(nèi)容與所學(xué)課文內(nèi)容基本保持一致,能夠在Hip-pop的音樂(lè)背景下進(jìn)行單詞的誦唱和復(fù)習(xí),并且在經(jīng)過(guò)一段時(shí)間的訓(xùn)練后,英語(yǔ)成績(jī)和學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的自信心得到了提升。
最后,用加德納的名言作為總結(jié):“每個(gè)孩子都是一個(gè)潛在的天才兒童,只是經(jīng)常表現(xiàn)為不同的形式,每個(gè)兒童都是一粒獨(dú)特的種子?!币虼宋覀儜?yīng)該從不同的角度來(lái)欣賞學(xué)生,要對(duì)每一個(gè)學(xué)生把以積極、熱切的期望,樂(lè)于發(fā)現(xiàn)他們的閃光點(diǎn),發(fā)現(xiàn)并發(fā)展學(xué)生的潛能,讓學(xué)生熱愛(ài)語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí),體會(huì)語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)的樂(lè)趣。
