When I’m working, I look forward to weekends.

I often find myself in unusual locations, so Friday nights I might head out with some of the cast and crew to1)explore the town. If I’m at home, however, in south London, Friday nights are likely to be quiet. You won’t find me on Facebook, though, or Twitter. I might play a few old games.

Saturdays mean a2)lie-in. Then I’ll have a bowl of3)porridge and some coffee. I might read some4)scripts, and afterwards, I’ll head off on my motorbike to the South Downs注1, and on to the sea. I’ve been into cars and bikes since I was tiny. When I hit 16, I got a5)scooter. It was bright pink. My friends6)slated me for it because of the color, but it was cool.

I like living at home: I’ve been making films since I was 12, when I played Sam in Love Actually注2. And if you spend as much time away on7)set, you get your8)independence young, so it’s nice to come back home.
