Viruses （病毒） are very， very small. We cant see them. They get into our body， well get sick.Computers can get viruses too. They can make our computers sick.

病毒是非常非常小的，我們看不見它們?？僧?dāng)他們進(jìn)入我們的身體，我們就會(huì)生病。計(jì)算機(jī)也會(huì)感染病毒，這些病毒會(huì)讓我們的電腦生病。

On May 12， a new computer virus broke out （爆發(fā)） all over the world. It is called WannaCry virus （勒索病毒）. It locks your files （文件） on your computer and asks you for money.

A computer virus is a program （程序） too. Its tiny and clever. It can find its way （途徑） into your computer.It may hide in an unsafe （不安全的） email. It may hide in a CD. If you download （下載） something from an unsafe website， your computer can get a virus.

計(jì)算機(jī)病毒也是一種程序。它又小又聰明。它可以通過它的方式進(jìn)入你的電腦。它可能隱藏在一個(gè)不安全的電子郵件里，也可能藏在一張CD里。如果你從一個(gè)不安全的網(wǎng)站下載東西的話，你的電腦可能會(huì)中病毒。

Some viruses make computers work slowly. Some damage （毀壞） your files. Some make computers break down （癱瘓）.

1. Name：Elk Cloner Year：1982

In 1982， Rich Skrenta was a high school student in the US. He was crazy （著迷的） about computers. He wanted to play tricks on （捉弄） his classmates. So he made Elk Cloner. It made the computer restart （重新啟動(dòng)） 50 times.

1982年，里奇·斯克倫塔是美國一所高中的學(xué)生。癡迷于電腦的他，為了捉弄同學(xué)，制做了Elk Cloner病毒，這種病毒會(huì)使計(jì)算機(jī)重新啟動(dòng)50次。

2. Name：I Love you Year：2000

It liked to attack（攻擊） the computers in banks. It went into peoples computers in emails. It stole the network passwords （網(wǎng)絡(luò)密碼）.

There are many hackers in the world. They have great computer skills （技能）. They use their computers to connect （連接） to other peoples computers. They find， change or steal information. But not all hackers are bad people. There are three kinds of hackers. They have different names. They have different purposes （目的）. Who are good and who are bad？ Lets take a look.

Black hat 黑帽子

Black hat hackers do bad things. They get into peoples computers to steal information， like phone numbers， email addresses and credit card （信用卡） numbers. They attack websites they dont like. They make computer viruses.

Gray hat 灰帽子

Gray hat hackers do both good and bad things. If they find a hole in the system， they dont fix it or attack it right away （馬上）. What will they do？ It is up to （取決于） their mood.
