午休有助于學習

Do you have the habit of taking a nap after lunch?If so,I congratulate you;if not,I strongly advise you to have a try.Because a recent research suggests that afternoon naps aid children's learning by boosting brain power.Though you are not a preschooler anymore,I still believe about half hour`s mid-day nap will help you in study.
40 youngsters took part in the test by researchers from University of Massachusetts Amherst and they found when the children were allowed a siesta after lunch they performed significantly better on visual-spatial tasks in the afternoon and the next day than when they were denied a mid-day snooze.
Following a nap,children recalled 10%more of the information they were being tested on than they did when they had been kept awake.

40名兒童參加了由Massachusetts Amherst大學研究人員主導的試驗。研究人員發(fā)現:午休的孩子明顯要比不午休的孩子表現要好——不只是當天下午,第二天的情況也是如此。午睡的孩子要比不午睡的伙伴能多記憶10%的信息。
