《魔發(fā)精靈》（Trolls）是美國夢工廠電影公司根據(jù)“丑娃”的造型改編拍攝的動畫電影。故事中精靈城的公主波比（Poppy）有著神奇的魔力和多彩的頭發(fā)，她樂觀積極，喜愛唱歌。但是有一天，她的小伙伴們被死對頭——“博啃族”抓走了。為了從“博啃族”手中救出她最好的朋友們，波比向精靈城中的“怪人”布蘭奇（Branch）尋求幫助?？刹继m奇是個不合群的悲觀主義者，他雖答應(yīng)了公主的請求，但他只是想讓公主知道這個世界并不像她想的那樣只有蛋糕和彩虹。一路上，他們共同經(jīng)歷了很多奇怪、有趣的事，也發(fā)現(xiàn)了自己以前從未察覺的東西。最后，波比還讓“博啃族”們懂得了快樂原本就已存在于內(nèi)心，并非靠吃精靈來獲得。

Poppy: Twenty years ago today, King Peppy made us safe. And now every troll is free to be happy and live in perfect harmony.

Troll 1: Harmony.

Troll 2: Harmony.

Troll 3: And that’s why we hug every hour.

Poppy: Yep.

Troll 4: I wish it was every half hour.

Poppy: So do I. But that wouldn’t leave much time for singing and dancing, now would it?

Troll 5: Princess Poppy, do the Bergens still want to eat us?

Poppy: You bet!

Trolls: (gasp)

Poppy: But just because it’s the only way they’ll ever be happy.

Troll 4: Oh, no. I do taste delicious.

Troll 5: Isn’t there anything else to make them happy?

Troll 6: Oh! What about having birthday parties?

Troll 7: Or slumber parties?

Troll 8: Or staring at your parents while they sleep.

Trolls: Eww…Ooh…

Troll 5: But I don’t want to be food.

Poppy: Don’t worry. No troll ever will be. And that’s why we’re celebrating with the biggest party ever. Everybody’s gonna be there.

Troll 9: Everybody?

Poppy: Everybody.

Poppy: Wait! King Gristle, when you were with Bridget, you were feeling something, weren’t you?

King Gristle: Yeah, I was. I just thought it was too much pizza.

Bridget: Me too.

Poppy: That feeling? That was happiness.

Bergens: What?

Bergen 1: But you have to eat a troll to be happy. Everyone knows that! Don’t you?

Poppy: But King Gristle’s never eaten a troll in his life, right?

King Gristle: No, I haven’t. And yet, here I am, my belly empty, and my heart full.

Chef: Don’t listen to her! There’s only one way to be happy. My way!

Bridget: No!

Chef: With me in charge I’ll serve you troll every day of the year. With me as queen, all of life will be a never-ending feast of happiness! Come on, eat! Eat!

Branch: Ahhh! (Branch is forced by the Chef into King Gristle’s mouth.)

Poppy: No! Happiness isn’t something you put inside. It’s already there. Sometimes you just need someone to help you find it.

Bergen 2: Can I really be happy?

Bergen 3: I want to be happy!

Bergen 4: And me!

Bergen 5: Sign me up!

Bergens: And what about me?

Bergen 6: Do you really think I can be happy?

Poppy: Of course! It’s inside you! It’s inside all of us! And I don’t think it. I feel it!
