英語(yǔ)該以怎樣的方式教學(xué)

按理說(shuō),繼續(xù)任教這個(gè)班的英語(yǔ),由七年級(jí)跟上八年級(jí),在聽說(shuō)方面應(yīng)該有些進(jìn)步吧?可事實(shí)卻不是這樣,七年的課程與小學(xué)的含接較多,單詞也簡(jiǎn)單些,大多數(shù)學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)還感興趣,學(xué)生也愿意開口說(shuō)英語(yǔ),但升上八年級(jí)之后,可能因?yàn)檎n程的內(nèi)容多,單詞也較難,所以大部分學(xué)生尤其是男生認(rèn)為英語(yǔ)難,逐漸開始對(duì)英語(yǔ)失去興趣,以至于課堂上只有女生回答問(wèn)題了。這樣的課堂如同嚼蠟,食之無(wú)味。我苦惱不已,希望能找到解決問(wèn)題的方法,逐向有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的教師請(qǐng)教,其中一位老師說(shuō)了一句意味深長(zhǎng)的話:“英語(yǔ),無(wú)他,語(yǔ)言也?!?/p>
那一天,我像往常一樣來(lái)到課室,課室里也只有女生在讀書,男生坐在座位上無(wú)精打采,我準(zhǔn)備上“What sweet music!”這一課,我便問(wèn)其中一位男孩:“Do you like music?”可能因?yàn)榫o張又或是一下子未聽明白,他站著不知如何回答。而他的同桌麗萍小聲地提示他,麗萍挺喜歡音樂的,于是我靈機(jī)一動(dòng)說(shuō):“你可以問(wèn)同桌這個(gè)問(wèn)題呀?!庇谑窃撃猩懵掏痰貙?duì)麗萍說(shuō):“Do you like music?”麗萍不但對(duì)英語(yǔ)感興趣,她還非常喜歡流行音樂,所以她很流利地說(shuō):“Of course, I love music,I especially love pop music,I like classical music ,too.I know most of our classmates love music,Do you agree with me,Yong Xin?。我沒想到她會(huì)把問(wèn)題接著給其他的同學(xué)。在過(guò)去的課堂中,問(wèn)題多是由老師提出學(xué)生來(lái)答,現(xiàn)在由學(xué)生提出還是頭一次,我相信學(xué)生更樂意回答。于是我仔細(xì)觀察,并用鼓勵(lì)的眼光望著這位女生,詠欣站起來(lái)說(shuō):“Yes, I like music very much,I oftenlisten to music in my free time,”I prefer classical music to pop music,I don’t like jazz at all.Qiu Yue,I often hear you sing songs,I think you must be a fanofmusic,which musicdo you like best?秋月也大大方方地站起來(lái)回答了,就這樣,提問(wèn)在學(xué)生中一個(gè)個(gè)地接下去,仿佛是一場(chǎng)游戲,然后我播放了一些音樂,讓學(xué)生一邊欣賞一邊猜測(cè)是哪一類音樂,在欣賞過(guò)程中學(xué)生也掌握了這幾種音樂英文的讀與寫。
最近很多漢語(yǔ)成語(yǔ)接龍比賽在中央電視臺(tái)熱播,我受到啟發(fā),于是把這種接龍比賽也用在英語(yǔ)課堂上,首先,我把學(xué)生分組圍坐著,然后我給出單詞或詞組,例如:Goswimming,我剛宣布完,教室里就熱鬧起來(lái):同學(xué)們談著,笑著,比劃著,交流得異常熱烈,與上課之初的情形真是天地之別。不久A組代表敏站起來(lái)開始說(shuō):“Yesterday was Sunday,It was fine,
we wanted to go swimming.B組代表杰先復(fù)述A組的句子,然后再根據(jù)自己的構(gòu)思說(shuō)下去,Yesterday was Sunday,It wasfine,we wanted to go swimming.Atfirst,wewent to Ll Sa’s home by bike atten o’clock.就這樣接下去,再說(shuō)出自己的想法,最后把幾組的句子連接起來(lái)也成了一篇有趣的小作文了:Yesterday was Sunday,It was fine,we wanted to go swimming, At first,we went to LiSa’home by bike at ten o’clock,then,we went to the bus stop together,we took the bus to the swimming pool,we went down to swim like a fish as soon as we got to the swimming pool,the water is clean and cool,we had a good time.這時(shí)課堂不時(shí)傳來(lái)陣陣笑聲,鼓勵(lì)聲,同學(xué)們積極舉手發(fā)言,課堂氣氛異?;钴S。有時(shí)為了活躍課堂,我經(jīng)常在課堂上穿插一些英語(yǔ)IQ題,比如:二十六個(gè)字母中有兩個(gè)人,分別是誰(shuí)呢?大多數(shù)學(xué)生知道一個(gè)是我,但另一個(gè)就不知道了,然后,我做手勢(shì),最終學(xué)生們猜出了,就是你,U就是YOU,哈哈,原來(lái)這么簡(jiǎn)單。
現(xiàn)在班里大多數(shù)男生也積極參與到說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的行列,而我也明白了那位老師所說(shuō)的:“英語(yǔ),無(wú)他,語(yǔ)言也?!本瓦@樣,學(xué)生們?cè)趯W(xué)中樂,樂中學(xué),在說(shuō)說(shuō)唱唱的過(guò)程中掌握了語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)的真諦,何樂而不為呢?
