如何勸父母讓自己養(yǎng)寵物

在《繪英語(yǔ)》微信號(hào)的調(diào)查中，我們有六成的小讀者都因?yàn)榧议L(zhǎng)不允許，而無(wú)法擁有夢(mèng)寐以求的寵物。其實(shí)養(yǎng)寵物的益處多多，下面這六條好處不妨說(shuō)給父母聽(tīng)聽(tīng)吧。

I think that one of the most enriching①enriching[?n'r?t?]v. 使……富足；增進(jìn)……的價(jià)值（enrich的ing形式）and delightful experiences in life is to own a pet. An animal which you nurture and take care of by yourself or with the help of your family is bound to be an almost never ending source of joy and happiness.But why is having a pet so important and what are the benef i ts of having a pet around your house?

1. Responsibility. When you get a pet you will—without a doubt—have to take care of a creature which will depend entirely on you. Effectively having a pet makes a person more responsible, the level of commitment and care of the owner will inevitably ref l ect on their pet.

2. Managing time. Having a pet is not something that you can do without having to give it a signif i cant②signif i cant英 [s?g'n?f?k(?)nt] 美 [s?ɡ'n?f?k?nt] adj. 重大的；有效的；有意義的；值得注意的；意味深長(zhǎng)的amount of your time. This usually means that you will have to make room in your schedule③schedule 英 [???dju?l] 美 ['sk?d?ul]vt. 安排，計(jì)劃n. 時(shí)間表；計(jì)劃表for your little friend something which will put your time managing skills to the test. Having a pet and getting organized around it is a good exercise to develop time managing abilities.

3. Nurturing④nurturing v. 培育；養(yǎng)育；培植（nurture的現(xiàn)在分詞）n. 培育；養(yǎng)育. One of the best benef i ts of having a pet is that you will understand that living beings have needs and that these needs have to be taken care of. It is not a coincidence that many great parents are also great pet owners who are very caring and loving of the living creatures around them.

4. Emotional link. The act of actually grooming and petting your little friend will create a great emotional link between you which will last for both of your life times. You will always remember the times you spent together and you will remember that special bond that you created and that made you so happy.

⒈責(zé)任意識(shí)。當(dāng)你養(yǎng)了寵物，毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)，你就得去照料一個(gè)完全依賴(lài)于你的生命。養(yǎng)寵物得法會(huì)讓人更具責(zé)任意識(shí)，主人的付出與關(guān)愛(ài)程度勢(shì)必反映在其喂養(yǎng)的寵物身上。

⒉時(shí)間管理。養(yǎng)寵物需要傾注大量的時(shí)間。這通常意味著你不得不專(zhuān)門(mén)安排時(shí)間來(lái)照顧你的小伙伴，這將是對(duì)你時(shí)間管理能力的考驗(yàn)。養(yǎng)寵物的同時(shí)把周?chē)帐暗镁袟l，是對(duì)時(shí)間管理能力不錯(cuò)的鍛煉。

⒊養(yǎng)育之道。養(yǎng)寵物最大的好處之一是讓你明白任何生命都是有所需求的，而且這些需求應(yīng)該被關(guān)照。很多了不起的父母同時(shí)也很擅長(zhǎng)養(yǎng)寵物，這絕非巧合，因?yàn)樗麄兌皿w貼、關(guān)愛(ài)其周遭的生命。

⒋情感維系。為寵物梳理毛發(fā)和給予它愛(ài)撫將在你們之間建立起美好的情感連接，這樣的情感會(huì)在你們各自的生活中得以延續(xù)。你將永遠(yuǎn)銘記你們共度的時(shí)光，還有那份由你創(chuàng)造的、令你開(kāi)心不已的特別的牽掛。

⒌改善健康。相較那些不養(yǎng)寵物的人，大多數(shù)養(yǎng)寵物的人都擁有更健康的體魄?；顫姾脛?dòng)的主人愛(ài)寵物并和它們一塊兒玩耍，運(yùn)動(dòng)量

5. Better health. Most people who have pets enjoy better health than those who don't. Active pet owners who care and play with their pets enjoy an additional⑤additional英 [?'d??(?)n(?)l] 美 [?'d???nl]adj. 附加的，額外的dose of exercise while all pet owners who have strong relationships with their pets also have strong bonds that lower their stress rates and therefore prevent various types of illness related with these conditions.

6. Learning about life. It is very important for people to know that nothing is eternal⑥eternal英 [?'t??n(?)l; i?-] 美 [?'t?nl] adj. 永恒的；不朽的and that both humans and animals live and die. Having a pet helps people understand the cycle of life and how everything we have is bound to end someday.Dealing with life and death is one of the most difficult tasks in life and owning a pet prepares individuals to deal with the harsh⑦h(yuǎn)arsh 英 [hɑ??] 美 [hɑr?] adj. 嚴(yán)厲的；嚴(yán)酷的emotional events in life.

So these are some of the most important reasons why I believe everyone should have a pet at least once in their life time. So if you have been thinking about buying a pet for you

and your family and you have the time and money available then you should absolutely⑧absolutely 英 ['?bs?lu?tl?] 美 ['?bs?lutli]adv. 絕對(duì)地；完全地get one, it is almost certain that you will not regret it!更 大，同時(shí)，所有與寵物關(guān)系親密的主人其自身壓力也可得以減輕，進(jìn)而預(yù)防壓力導(dǎo)致的各類(lèi)疾病。

⒍學(xué)會(huì)生活。世間沒(méi)有永恒之物，無(wú)論是人還是動(dòng)物都有生有死，明白這一點(diǎn)非常重要。養(yǎng)寵物能夠幫助人們理解生命的輪回，明白現(xiàn)在所擁有的一切終將在某一刻終結(jié)消逝。應(yīng)對(duì)生死是生命中最為艱難的課題之一，養(yǎng)寵物能讓人準(zhǔn)備好面對(duì)生命里殘酷的別離。

這就是為什么我認(rèn)為每個(gè)人至少應(yīng)該養(yǎng)一回寵物。如果你一直在考慮要為自己和家人買(mǎi)一只寵物，而且你還有閑有錢(qián)的話，一定要養(yǎng)一只，我敢肯定你不會(huì)后悔!
