“Hey， let me get on.” a man shouted at the passengers on the bus.

“Its too crowded. You had better wait for the next bus.” a passenger said to him.

“But you cant go without me. Im the driver.” the man said.

“喂，讓我上車！”那位男士向公交車上的乘客喊道。

“車太擠了，你最好等下一輛?！币晃怀丝蛯?duì)他說(shuō)。

“但是沒(méi)有我你們走不了，我是司機(jī)！”那位男士說(shuō)道。

The zoo built a special eight-foot-high fence for its newly acquired kangaroo， but the next morning the animal was found hopping around outside. The height of the fence was increased to 15 feet， but the kangaroo got out again. Exasperated， the zoo director had the height increased to 30 feet， but the kangaroo still escaped. A giraffe asked the kangaroo， “How high do you think theyll build the fence？”

“I dont know.” said the kangaroo， “Maybe a thousand feet if they keep leaving the gate unlocked.”

動(dòng)物園為剛引進(jìn)的袋鼠建了一個(gè)八英尺高的圍墻。但是第二天早上，人們發(fā)現(xiàn)它在圍墻外面跳來(lái)跳去。于是把圍墻高度增加到十五英尺，但袋鼠還是跑了出來(lái)。動(dòng)物園經(jīng)理甚感惱火，又叫人把圍墻高度加到三十英尺，但袋鼠還是逃了出來(lái)。一個(gè)長(zhǎng)頸鹿問(wèn)袋鼠：

“你認(rèn)為他們會(huì)把圍墻建到多高？”

“我不知道，”袋鼠說(shuō)，“如果他們繼續(xù)開(kāi)著大門，可能要修到一千英尺吧?！?/p>

“My head teacher is so foolish！” said a boy to a girl.

“Well， do you know who I am？ I am your head teachers daughter！” the girl said.

“And do you know who I am？” asked the boy calmly.

“No， I dont know.” the girl uttered.

“Thank goodness！” said the boy with a sign of relief.

“我的班主任太傻了！” 男孩兒對(duì)女孩兒說(shuō)。

“呃——你知道我是誰(shuí)么？我就是你班主任的女兒?！迸赫f(shuō)道。

“那你知道我是誰(shuí)么？”男孩兒故作淡定。

“我不知道呀?！迸夯卮鸬?。

“哦，謝天謝地?！蹦泻洪L(zhǎng)舒一口氣說(shuō)道。

One day， the father let eight-year-old son send a letter. The son took the letter. The father then remembered he didnt write address and addressees name on the envelope.

After the son came back， the father asked him， “Have you thrown the letter into the mail box？”

“Certainly.”

“Didnt you notice that the envelope does not have address and addressees name on it？”

“I certainly saw nothing written on the envelope.”

“Then why didnt you take it back？”

“I thought that you did not write address and addressee， because you wouldnt let me know to whom you send the letter！”

一天，父親讓8歲的兒子去幫自己寄一封信。兒子拿著信去了。父親突然想起來(lái)還沒(méi)在信封上寫收件人地址和姓名。

等兒子回來(lái)后，父親問(wèn)兒子：“你把信投進(jìn)信箱了嗎？”

“當(dāng)然啦！”

“難道你沒(méi)有注意到信封上沒(méi)有收件人地址和姓名嗎？”

“信封上的確什么都沒(méi)有寫啊。”

“那你為什么沒(méi)有把它拿回來(lái)？”

“我以為你不寫地址和收件人是因?yàn)椴幌胱屛抑滥惆研偶慕o誰(shuí)呢！”

One day a little white rabbit went to a bakery and asked， “Have you got 100 buns？”

一天有只小白兔來(lái)到面包店問(wèn)：“請(qǐng)問(wèn)你們有100個(gè)小面包嗎？”

The shopkeeper answered， “Sorry， we dont have that many.”

老板回答：“抱歉我們沒(méi)有那么多?！?/p>

“Oh， thats a pity！” said the rabbit and left， disappointed.

“哦，太遺憾了。”小白兔失望地離開(kāi)了。

The second day the little white rabbit went to the bakery again and asked， “Have you got 100 buns？”

第二天小白兔又來(lái)到那個(gè)面包店問(wèn)：“請(qǐng)問(wèn)你們有100個(gè)小面包嗎？”

The shopkeeper again answered， “Sorry， we dont have that many.”

老板仍回答：“抱歉我們沒(méi)有那么多?！?/p>

“Oh， its a pity，” said the rabbit， and left again， disappointed.

“哦，太遺憾了?！毙“淄糜质仉x開(kāi)了。

The third day the little white rabbit went again to the bakery and asked， “Have you got 100 buns？”

第三天小白兔依然來(lái)到那家面包店，問(wèn)：“請(qǐng)問(wèn)你們有100個(gè)小面包嗎？”

“Oh， yes we have 100 buns today！” the shopkeeper answered gladly.

“有的有的！今天我們有100個(gè)小面包啦！”老板高興地回答。

“Thats great， Ill buy two， thank you！”

“那太好啦！我買2個(gè)，謝謝！”

The shopkeeper stood silently.

老板呆掉了。
