These genetically cloned Afghan hounds in South Korea have made history.

Lee ByeongChun， a veterinary professor at Seoul National University， claims to have cloned three female dogs for the first time.

The pooches—named Bona， Peace and Hope—are getting used to their new surroundings.

And they have already perfected the art of flashing a big smile for the cameras.

However， their creation has reignited the debate over cloning， with critics calling it “Frankenscience”.

這些是韓國科學(xué)家克隆的阿富汗獵犬。

韓國首爾國立大學(xué)Lee ByeongChun教授稱他第一次成功克隆出三只母犬。

這三只小狗分別名叫“波娜”“和平”“希望”，它們正逐漸適應(yīng)新環(huán)境。

This is the sheep Dolly—the first mammal in the world to be cloned. She was born at Roslin Institute near Edinburgh in 1996， but died in 2003 after developing arthritis.

Prometea， the worlds first cloned horse， is running in the ground. Prometea was born in May 2003， Italy.

這匹正在奔跑的馬兒名叫Prometea，它是世界上第一匹克隆馬，2003年5月出生在意大利。
