解決劃線句子提問“五步曲”

同學們在學英語過程中,對劃線部分提問一直是個難點。如何破解這一難點呢?這里給你指點迷津。

俗話說得好,唱歌要靠曲,否則會跑調(diào)。同樣在對句子中劃線部分提問,也得靠個“曲”,這里為你設計了“五步曲”。

第一步,選擇恰當?shù)囊蓡栐~。

常用的疑問詞有what, how, who, whose, where, which, how old, what color, when, what time, why, how many, how much, how time等等。如:

①My name is Helen. 劃線部分指的是“人的名字”,則應用what疑問詞。

Whats your name?

②Its six thirty now. 劃線部分指的是“時間”,則應選用what time疑問詞。

What time is it now?

第二步,分析確定被提問部分是否在句子中作主語或是主語的部分。如:

③My sister and mother are going to Beijing tomorrow.劃線部分是主語,指的是“人”,則應選用who疑問詞。

Who is going to Beijing tomorrow?

第三步,如果被提問的部分是主語或主語的一部分,則可直接用所選的疑問詞來代替被提問的部分,句末將句號變?yōu)閱柼?。?

④Li Hong is my sister. 劃線部分在句中指“人”,則疑問詞應選who,句末改問號即可。

Who is your sister?

⑤My shoes are white. 劃線部分指的是“誰的”,是主語的一部分,則應選用whose疑問詞。

Whose shoes are white?

第四步,如果被提問的部分不是句子的主語或主語的一部分,則要把這句子變?yōu)橐话阋蓡柧湫问?然后用所選的疑問詞代替劃線部分,并將這個疑問詞置于句首,刪去劃線部分,句末改用問號。如:

⑥My cup is green.

(1)選擇疑問詞What color

(2)變?yōu)橐话阋蓡柧銲s your cup green?

(3)What color置于句首,去掉green,得到結果。

What color is your cup?

第五步,如果被提問的部分是謂語動詞,還要把此句變?yōu)橐话阋蓡柧?然后用do等的適當形式代替謂語動詞,去掉賓語,并在句首加疑問詞what等。如:

⑦She is watching TV now.此句變?yōu)橐话阋蓡柧錇镮s she watching TV now?則所得疑問句為What is she doing now?
