根據(jù)學(xué)期計(jì)劃安排，學(xué)校行政部門研究決定全校于下星期三、四（2009年4月29~30號(hào)）舉行期中考試，希望各班加強(qiáng)考前教育。

Mid-term Examination

Dear Zhang Ping,

Are you feeling any better? As you know, the mid-term examination is going to be held next week. So Im writing the e-mail to tell you about it.

The examination will last two days, from Wednesday to Thursday next week. Well take Chinese, politics exams on Wednesday morning, geography and physics in the afternoon; while English, chemistry, math and history are to be tested on Thursday.

You will have to bring some necessary stationery. However, any textbooks and reference books are not allowed to be taken into the classroom for the examination.

Please dont need to worry too much about it, for our teachers have told us that they are easy to pass only if we focus on the textbooks and notes. If you still have anything to ask me, please dont hesitate to contact me by telephone or e-mail. My phone number is 0739-4811155.

1. 優(yōu)點(diǎn)：

E-mail已經(jīng)成為現(xiàn)代生活不可或缺的一部分，深受學(xué)生們的喜愛。雖說這是一封email，但足可以看出該同學(xué)的英語寫作功底和平時(shí)喜歡積累語言素材的好習(xí)慣。在此信中該同學(xué)大膽并準(zhǔn)確運(yùn)用了課內(nèi)外學(xué)習(xí)中所碰到的新單詞、短語和句型。例如，stationery（文具）、reference books（參考書籍）、be not allowed to do something(嚴(yán)禁做某事)、as you know（正如你所知道的）、be to be tested（計(jì)劃考試）、focus on（關(guān)注）。另外，最值得稱道的是這封信層次分明，準(zhǔn)確運(yùn)用連接詞so, while, however, for等，說事清楚明了。

2. 需要修改的地方：

最后一段顯得羅嗦和文縐縐的，不如改成： Dont worry about it, for our teachers have told us that they are easy to pass only when we focus on our textbooks and notes. If you want to know more, phone me please. My phone number is 0739-4811155. 這樣更適合E-mail的簡(jiǎn)明扼要的語言特征。

按照湖南省中考作文滿分10分的評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，本文修改前可得9分。
