Book clubs are no longer limited to living rooms， and bookstores offer much more than just books with a whole new place opening up for gatherings and a wide range of choices centered around reading.

When entering BookBar on Tennyson Street， shoppers are greeted by a lovely smell of coffee and small plates. The xiao， a traditional vertical bamboo flute （長(zhǎng)笛）， is now attracting more and more attention with its long history and rich cultural meanings.
