Bees make a venom. It is important to people.They collect it to make medicines2. They use it tostudy people’s brain³， too. Sometimes people hurt thebees when they get the venom. Bees already haveproblems. They are losing the places where they live.They are getting sick. People use chemicals4 which killthem. An Australian scientist wants to protect bees. Hefinds a new way to collect bee venom. He gives thebees a piece of glass. The bees sting5 the glass. Glassis flat. The bees cannot get stuck anywhere. Theycannot get hurt.
