Its all well and good to talk big about finding signs of life on Mars, but we alsoneed to know where to find. Getting to Mars is hard and theres a lot of work to do. Inone of the driest places on Earth, people have not seen rain for more than ten years.But life can be found there under the ground.
Mars has almost the same dry land3 as Earth, with one key difference. Throw4a stone on Earth, and it may land somewhere with life. But the history of life on Marsis a question. AI and machine learning can make it much less difficult to find life onMars. An international team of researchers5 has shown that with AI and machinelearning, the useful information can be found. It could be used to tell if there is lifeout there. It is the best chance to find life on Mars.
