Successful Holding of 2023 Investment Promotion Conference on Chongqing-Hong Kong SAR Cultural and Tourism Cooperation in Hong Kong SAR for Creating New Pattern of Cooperative Development

On April 21， the 2023 Investment Promotion Conference on Chongqing-Hong Kong SAR Cultural and Tourism Cooperation kicked off at Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong. Many people attended the event， including Felix Chan from the Hong Kong Tourism Board， Cheng Ruishan， Director Assistant of the Asia Tourism Exchange Center， and more than 50 entrepreneur representatives from Hong Kong Chongqing Friendship Federation （Limited）， the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Federation of Commerce， and the cultural and tourism industries in Hong Kong SAR.

Zhu Maofa， Deputy Director-General of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development， delivered a speech at the investment promotion conference， where exceptional roadshows on Chongqings five high-quality cultural and tourism projects were staged.

Fan Piaoyang from Chongqing Daily News Group introduced Chongqings international culture trade base project， indicating its goal of building a first-class platform to promote cultural trade， exchange and cooperation between Chongqing and regions like Hong Kong SAR and facilitate the globalization of the local and characteristic cultures of Chongqing.

Li Renbo， Chairman of Chongqing Hongyuan Industry （Group） Co.， Ltd.， focused on introducing the ongoing Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park project. At the site， he invited entrepreneurs in the industries to explore the industrial development potential in Chongqings old industrial base.

Guo Chengjie， a representative of Chongqing Guosheng Shuzhi Technology Co.， Ltd.， shared some information on the Guosheng IEC Digital Cultural Industrial Park and Shacixiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Block and mentioned the government's promise to provide a favorable environment and policy support for the development of startups established in these areas.

Zhao Ying， President of the Chongqing Hot Spring Tourism Association， provided a promotion roadshow entitled “Chongqings Hot Spring Routes and Products，” which aroused strong interest among many travel agencies in Hong Kong SAR. They expressed their willingness to conduct further negotiations on jointly customizing special hot spring routes for tourists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area.

Mou Xing， a representative of the Beibei District Commission of Cultural and Tourism Development， recommended the China Hot Spring Industry Expo that had been successfully held twice. The highlights of the expo won high praise from the guests on-site.

After the project promotion， there were heated discussions and in-depth exchanges among guests from Chongqing and Hong Kong SAR. Some businessmen from Hong Kong SAR expressed their intention to visit Chongqing soon for further investigation. The successful holding of this promotion conference will have a profound impact on further building a new pattern of cooperative development， in which Chongqing and Hong Kong SAR will send tourists to each other， share their markets and conduct win-win cooperation.
