中國人的精神

President Xi once said, “Chinese spirit matters a lot in Chinese culture.” Then, you may ask, what is Chinese spirit? How does the culture form? As we know, Chinese civilization dates back to 5000 years ago.At that time, our ancestors lived in very poor living conditions.

Just as the saying goes, “No pain, no gain.” So they must have worked hard to get necessary food for living. Since then, Chinese people have been aware of being hardworking. So, I can answer the question before. This is Chinese spirit. Then, from the Xia, Shang, Zhou, to Yuan, Ming, Qing Dynasties, until now, it has grown into the culture among all Chinese. And that’s how the culture forms. Whenever it is, Chinese are always famous for their diligence（勤奮）, which is the most valuable spirit.

As President Xi said, “The movement of heaven is full of power, thus the superior man makes himself strong and untiring.” From 1949 to now, China has made so many achievements that it has grown into the world’s second largest economy. But now, the future belongs to you, belongs to everyone here, belongs to all the youngsters in China.So, I hope you can stick to the symbol of Chinese culture—the diligence spirit, which is also the Chinese spirit. Work hard, never give up, and everyone has the potential to make China a stronger and more beautiful socialist country!
