Director-General Wang Wen Visiting Sichuan International Studies University王雯主任到四川外國語大學開展專題調(diào)研

On November 1st, Wang Wen, Director-General of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Leading Group of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government, had a research tour at Sichuan International Studies University (SISU) focusing on“Learning, Communicating and Implementing the Guiding Principles of the 20thCPC National Congress, and Providing Quality Foreign Affairs Services in the New Era”. Zou Yu, Secretary of the CPC SISU Committee, Dong Hongchuan, President of SISU, Zhu Chaowei,Vice-President of SISU, and heads of some schools and departments attended the research tour.

11月1日，市委外辦主任，市政府外辦黨組書記、主任王雯到四川外國語大學開展“學習宣傳貫徹黨的二十大精神，做好新時期外事工作”專題調(diào)研。四川外國語大學黨委書記鄒渝、校長董洪川、副校長祝朝偉和部分二級單位負責人參加調(diào)研。

王雯在調(diào)研中指出，黨的二十大是一次高舉旗幟、凝聚力量、團結(jié)奮進的大會，為新時代新征程黨和國家事業(yè)發(fā)展、實現(xiàn)第二個百年奮斗目標指明了前進方向、確立了行動指南。特別是習近平總書記在報告中全面總結(jié)了中國特色大國外交取得的偉大成就，深刻分析了國際國內(nèi)形勢，對今后五年和更長時期外交外事工作進行了全面部署，為地方對外開放指明了方向，明確了奮斗目標。

Wang Wen pointed out that the 20thCPC National Congress aims at holding high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, pooling people’s strength, and forging great unity and solidarity. It illuminates the way forward in the new journey of the new era and sets up the guidelines for the progress in the cause of the CPC and the country and for the realization of the second centenary goal. In particular, General Secretary Xi Jinping comprehensively summarizes in his report to the 20thCPC National Congress the great achievements of Major-Country Diplomacy with Chinese Characteristics, deeply analyzes the international and domestic situations, makes comprehensive plans of foreign affairs work in the next five years and longer, and sets directions and goals for the opening-up endeavors of various localities.

Wang Wen spoke highly of SISU’s achievements in holding major foreign affairs activities, promoting international cooperation of sister cities, and strengthening international peopleto-people exchanges and international communication. She also brought up plans of cooperation between Chongqing FAO and SISU in terms of combining resources from both sides to build a stronger synergy in facilitating the development of the Center for International Exchanges in Central and Western China.

Zou Yu shared his understanding of the guiding principles of the 20thCPC National Congress, presented SISU’s ideas and priorities of innovative development of the liberal arts and international cooperation projects, and put forth his opinions on further deepening the cooperation between SISU and the Chongqing FAO.

Dong Hongchuan introduced SISU’s history, disciplines,development planning, etc., and proposed requests for the coordination and support from the Chongqing FAO, which was positively responded by the research delegation.

Both sides agreed to strengthen pragmatic cooperation in information sharing, platform co-construction, co-organization of activities, sharing of results, etc., establish a joint working mechanism to promote the cooperation in an item-based, projectbased, and list-based manner, keep true to the guiding principles of the 20thCPC National Congress throughout all aspects of the work, and join hands to make new achievements on the new journey in the new era.

During the visit, Wang Wen and her delegation paid a visit to the College of Japanese Studies, getting a better understanding of their education, academic exchanges, international cooperation,etc. and listening to the ideas and opinions of teachers and students about promoting international people-to-people exchanges.

王雯高度肯定四川外國語大學在舉辦重大外事活動、推動國際友城合作、加強中外人文交流和國際傳播等方面取得的突出成績，并就市外辦和四川外國語大學進一步整合資源、強化協(xié)同，共同推動中西部國際交往中心建設(shè)等工作提出合作設(shè)想。

鄒渝分享了黨的二十大精神學習體會，介紹了學校在新文科項目、國際化項目等方面的建設(shè)思路和重點方向，對進一步深化四川外國語大學和市外辦的合作提出意見。

董洪川就學校發(fā)展歷程、學科設(shè)置、發(fā)展規(guī)劃等方面作介紹，并提出需請市外辦協(xié)調(diào)支持的有關(guān)事項，得到調(diào)研組積極回應(yīng)。

雙方一致商定在信息共享、平臺共建、活動共辦、成果共用等方面加強務(wù)實合作，建立聯(lián)席工作機制，事項化、項目化、清單化推動相關(guān)合作任務(wù)落實落地，努力把黨的二十大精神貫穿到工作全過程各方面，攜手在新時代新征程上展現(xiàn)新作為。

調(diào)研期間，王雯一行還來到四川外國語大學日語學院，了解學院人才培養(yǎng)、學術(shù)交流、國際合作等情況，聽取師生關(guān)于推動中外人文交流的意見建議。

Zhang Yaxi, Deputy Director- General Chongqing FAO and Her Delegation Visiting Chongqing Transportation Holding Group張婭茜副主任率隊赴重慶交運集團調(diào)研

On October 26th, Zhang Yaxi, Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government, and her delegation paid a field visit to Chongqing Transportation Holding Group,focusing on foreign trade and foreign affairs. A meeting was held with Zhang Guohua, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of Chongqing Transportation Holding Group, and others in charge.

Chongqing Transportation Holding Group has been the only enterprise in China with “premium” titles in both passenger and cargo transportation.Zhang Guohua introduced the history, business, and operation of Chongqing Transportation Holding Group. He expressed his hope that the Chongqing FAO would help them “go out” to explore international markets and strengthen exchanges and cooperation with neighboring countries. It would be appreciated if its international logistics channels and commodity exhibition and trading center could be supported to play an active role in the development of the Center for International Exchanges in Central and Western China.

Zhang Yaxi spoke highly of and recognized the management of foreign-related services provided by Chongqing Transportation Holding Group, as well as the achievements made in balancing COVID-19 prevention and control and opening-up efforts. She expressed her hope that Chongqing Transportation Holding Group could be fully in line with the guiding principles of the 20thCPC National Congress, continue to pay close attention to overseas travels for official purposes, and ensure that the CPC’s management of foreign-related services is in place. After this field visit,Chongqing FAO will fully play its role in strengthening exchanges based on the needs of Chongqing Transportation Holding Group, open up channels for exchanges and cooperation for enterprises to “go global” and “bring in”,and build diversified exchange platforms. It will facilitate the openness and development of enterprises by high standards and enhance the effectiveness of foreign affairs serving local economic development.

10月26日，市政府外辦黨組成員、副主任張婭茜率隊赴重慶交運集團調(diào)研外經(jīng)外事工作，與重慶交運集團黨委書記、董事長張國華及相關(guān)負責人交流座談。

重慶交運集團是目前全國唯一道路客貨運輸“雙特級”企業(yè)。張國華介紹了重慶交運集團的發(fā)展歷程、業(yè)務(wù)板塊及運營規(guī)模等情況并表示，希望市政府外辦助力交運集團“走出去”開拓國際市場，加強與周邊國家的交流合作；助力其國際物流通道和商品展示交易中心在中西部國際交往中心建設(shè)中發(fā)揮積極作用。

Visits to Enterprises by Zhou Yi, Deputy Director-General of Chongqing FAO周毅副主任率隊赴企業(yè)開展主題調(diào)研

On October 26th, Zhou Yi, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government, led a team to visit T. Y. Lin International Engineering Consulting (China)Co., Ltd. and TY Intelligent Science & Technology (Chongqing) Co., Ltd.Exchanges. Discussions were held among Zhou Yi, Man-Chung Tang,Chairman of the Board of T. Y. Lin International, and Huang Cong, Vice President of T. Y. Lin International.

Zhou Yi and his delegation learned in detail about TYLI (China)’s professional advantages, signature projects, and three categories of customized services for infrastructure development. He also listened to the preparations for the 5thSustainable Landscape-City Development International Forum. Zhou Yi expressed that the Chongqing FAO will be an active supporter of TYLI’s high-quality development as well as its international exchanges and cooperation and both sides will work together to build Chongqing into the Center for International Exchanges in Central and Western China.

At the meeting, Stilwell Research Center and T. Y. Lin International Engineering Consulting (China) Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Following the principle of “synergizing the advantages, orienting towards results with great efficiency, and pursuing common development”,the two sides will carry out more exchanges and cooperation in promoting China-US people-to-people friendship, personnel training, think tank development, and other aspects.

On October 28th, Zhou Yi led a team to Chongqing Polycomp International Corporation and Chongqing Sanfeng Covanta Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. The visit was joined by Yuan Wei, Vice District Mayor of Dadukou.

10月26日，市政府外辦副主任周毅率隊赴林同棪國際工程咨詢（中國）有限公司、同炎數(shù)智科技（重慶）有限公司開展主題調(diào)研，與林同棪國際（中國）董事長鄧文中、副總裁黃聰?shù)冗M行交流座談。

周毅一行詳細了解林同棪國際（中國）專業(yè)優(yōu)勢、經(jīng)典項目和三大基建定制化服務(wù)等建設(shè)情況，并聽取了第五屆山水城市可持續(xù)發(fā)展國際論壇的籌備情況。他表示，市政府外辦將積極支持林同棪公司高質(zhì)量發(fā)展和對外交流合作，共同推動重慶建設(shè)中西部國際交往中心。

座談會上，史迪威研究中心與林同棪國際工程咨詢（中國）有限公司簽署了戰(zhàn)略合作協(xié)議，雙方將本著“優(yōu)勢互補、求實高效、共同發(fā)展”的原則，在中美民間交往、人才培養(yǎng)、智庫建設(shè)等方面開展更多交流合作。

10月28日，周毅率隊赴重慶國際復(fù)合材料有限公司、重慶三峰卡萬塔環(huán)境產(chǎn)業(yè)有限公司開展主題調(diào)研。大渡口區(qū)副區(qū)長袁衛(wèi)參加調(diào)研。

Zhou Yi and his colleagues had a detailed understanding of the company’s production and operation, international cooperation, and existing difficulties. He noted that the 20thNational Congress of the Communist Party of China takes high-quality development as the first and foremost task of building a modern socialist country in all respects, and he emphasized the necessity to focus on the real economy in pursuing economic growth. As China will promote high-standard opening up, international resources should be fully tapped for international engagement in pursuing green development. Chongqing FAO will fully leverage its strengths in foreign affairs resources, channels, and information to assist the international development of enterprises.

周毅一行詳細了解企業(yè)生產(chǎn)經(jīng)營情況、涉外合作情況及存在的困難問題。他表示，黨的二十大把高質(zhì)量發(fā)展作為全面建設(shè)社會主義現(xiàn)代化國家的首要任務(wù)，強調(diào)把發(fā)展經(jīng)濟的著力點放在實體經(jīng)濟上。我們要推進高水平對外開放，充分利用國際資源，深耕綠色發(fā)展等國際賽道。市政府外辦將充分發(fā)揮外事資源、渠道、信息等優(yōu)勢，全力助力企業(yè)國際化發(fā)展。

Deputy Director-General Li Mingquan Paid Inspection Visit to Tongliang District李明全副主任率隊赴銅梁區(qū)調(diào)研

On October 28th, Li Mingquan, Deputy Director-General of the CQFAO, led a team for an inspection visit to Tongliang District. The visit was also attended by Liao Qiang, a Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Tongliang District Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor of the Tongliang District Government.

The team listened carefully to the report on foreign affairs in Tongliang District and remarks of the Tongliang District Public Security Bureau,Tongliang District Commission of Culture and Tourism, and Tongliang District Investment Promotion Bureau, and provided detailed answers and guidance for their questions. Li Mingquan said that the CQFAO will fully implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and focus efforts on establishing exchange platforms and opening up information channels for investment promotion, so as to facilitate the exchange of personnel and promote the internationalization of regional opening-up efforts. Meanwhile, it will also help to arrange for more people from the political and business communities to know Tongliang firsthand, enhance the visibility of Tongliang, better serve the external work and high-quality socio-economic development in the district, and introduce the “Tongliang Dragon Culture” to the world, so that Tongliang can play a more important role in the development of international exchanges in the central and western regions.

10月28日，市政府外辦副主任李明全率隊赴銅梁區(qū)調(diào)研。銅梁區(qū)委常委、區(qū)政府常務(wù)副區(qū)長廖強參加調(diào)研。

調(diào)研組認真聽取了銅梁區(qū)匯報外事工作情況及銅梁區(qū)公安局、區(qū)文化旅游委、區(qū)招商投資局交流發(fā)言，并對其提出的問題進行詳細解答與指導。李明全表示，市政府外辦將全面貫徹落實黨的二十大精神，緊緊圍繞搭建交流平臺、打通招商引資信息渠道促進銅梁開展國際交流，加強便利暢通人員往來，提升區(qū)域開放國際化水平。同時，也將協(xié)助組織更多政商人士走進銅梁、了解銅梁、宣傳銅梁，更好服務(wù)銅梁區(qū)的對外工作和地方經(jīng)濟社會高質(zhì)量發(fā)展，推動銅梁龍文化“走出去”，在建設(shè)中西部國際交往中發(fā)揮更重要的作用。

Liao Qiang said that Tongliang District will actively participate in the construction of an international exchange center in the central and western regions and promote the high-quality socioeconomic development of Tongliang.It is hoped that the resources and platform advantages of the CQFAO can be utilized to comprehensively increase the international visibility of Tongliang and engage Tongliang in more international exhibitions and business activities so that local businesses can stand a better chance of going global and be more engaged in the construction of an international exchange center in the central and western regions.

On the same day, Li Mingquan and his colleagues visited Tongliang District Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, Tongliang District Rural Revitalization Exhibition Hall, and Luxiangjia Technology Co., Ltd. to learn about socioeconomic development and international cooperation in the district.

Nicole Cooper, Deputy Consul-General of Australia in Chengdu, Visited Chongqing澳大利亞駐成都副總領(lǐng)事柯妮來渝工作交流

On October 27th, Li Mingquan, Deputy Director-General of CQFAO, held a work meeting with Nicole Cooper, Deputy Consul-General of Australia in Chengdu.

Li Mingquan informed Cooper of the guiding principles of the 20thNational Congress of the CPC and briefed her on the general picture and latest socioeconomic development of Chongqing. He said that Chongqing has a good foundation for exchanges with Australia, which provides great prospects for bilateral cooperation. The Consulate-General of Australia in Chengdu has close ties and extensive cooperation with various sectors in Chongqing. CQFAO is willing to work with the Consulate-General of Australia to jointly scale new heights in the cooperation between Chongqing and Australia in the fields of scientific and technological innovation,medical and health care, urban planning, and sister city exchanges.

Cooper congratulated on the successful convening of the 20thNational Congress of the CPC and recognized Chongqing’s efficient coordination in dealing with the triple challenge posed by COVID-19, drought and fire,and its socioeconomic development progress. She said she stands ready to strengthen contact and interaction with CQFAO and relevant units,enhance mutual understanding, deepen friendship, and promote exchanges and cooperation at various levels and in extensive fields.

10月27日，市政府外辦副主任李明全在市外事大樓與澳大利亞駐成都副總領(lǐng)事柯妮工作座談。

李明全向柯妮通報了黨的二十大精神，介紹了重慶市情以及經(jīng)濟社會發(fā)展最新情況。他表示，重慶與澳大利亞交往基礎(chǔ)良好、合作前景廣闊，澳大利亞駐成都總領(lǐng)事館與重慶各界聯(lián)系緊密、合作廣泛，市政府外辦愿與澳大利亞領(lǐng)館一道，共同推動重慶與澳大利亞在科技創(chuàng)新、醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生、城市規(guī)劃、友城交流等領(lǐng)域合作再上新的臺階。

Samantha Tam, Consul of the Consulate-General of Canada in Chongqing, Visited Wanzhou District加拿大駐重慶總領(lǐng)事館領(lǐng)事譚詠詩訪問萬州

On November 2nd, Samantha Tam, Consul of the Consulate-General of Canada in Chongqing, and her colleagues visited Wanzhou District, Chongqing to investigate the development and construction of Wanzhou Airport, and exchanged views with Liu Xiaoquan, Deputy District Mayor of Wanzhou District Government, where she expressed hope for Canada and Wanzhou to deepen exchanges and cooperation in the field of aviation.

During the discussion, the responsible person of Wanzhou District updated Ms. Tam on the latest progress of Wanzhou Airport and hoped that the Consulate-General of Canada in Chongqing would act as a bridge between Canadian aviation companies and Wanzhou Airport to promote the two sides to enhance exchanges and cooperation and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.

Ms. Tam believed that Wanzhou Airport has broad prospects for development, and the rapid development of the airport would be very attractive to Canadian aviation companies. The Consulate-General of Canada in Chongqing will recommend that Canadian aviation companies conduct field visits and exchanges in Wanzhou District, so as to promote pragmatic and efficient cooperation between Canada and Wanzhou District in the field of aviation.

11月2日，加拿大駐重慶總領(lǐng)事館領(lǐng)事譚詠詩一行赴重慶萬州區(qū)訪問，考察了解萬州機場發(fā)展及建設(shè)情況，并與萬州區(qū)政府副區(qū)長劉小泉等進行交流，期待深化加拿大與萬州區(qū)在航空領(lǐng)域的交流合作。

座談會上，萬州區(qū)有關(guān)負責人向譚詠詩一行介紹了萬州機場相關(guān)情況，并希望加拿大駐重慶總領(lǐng)事館發(fā)揮紐帶作用，推動加拿大航空領(lǐng)域企業(yè)與萬州機場加強交流合作，實現(xiàn)互利共贏。

譚詠詩認為，萬州機場的發(fā)展前景廣闊，萬州機場的快速發(fā)展對加拿大航空企業(yè)非常具有吸引力。加拿大駐重慶總領(lǐng)事館將推薦加拿大航空企業(yè)到萬州區(qū)實地考察交流，促進加拿大與萬州區(qū)在航空領(lǐng)域開展務(wù)實高效的合作。

During the visit, Ms. Tan and her colleagues also inspected the Wanzhou Airport Terminal which is under reconstruction and expansion.

訪問期間，譚詠詩一行還實地考察了正在改擴建的萬州機場航站樓。

Chongqing Re-elected as a Member of the United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) Council重慶市連任世界城地組織（UCLG）理事會成員

The 7thWorld Congress of UCLG was held in Daejeon, South Korea, from October 10thto 14th, including the renewal election of administrative bodies. Chongqing was re-elected as a member of the Council and will continue to actively work to promote local governments to contribute more to global governance and offer its vision and strength to global development.

UCLG, founded in 2004, is the world’s largest and most representative international organization for local governments. The organization has been dedicated to building a global network of local governments, pooling the strength of all cities, and working together to address global challenges such as climate change, wealth inequality, gender equality, and urban governance.

10月10日至14日，世界城地組織（UCLG）第七屆會員大會在韓國大田市召開，會議進行了管理機構(gòu)換屆選舉。重慶市連選擔任理事會成員，將繼續(xù)積極參與工作，推動加強地方政府在全球治理中的作用，為全球發(fā)展貢獻重慶智慧與力量。

世界城地組織于2004年成立，是目前世界上最大和最具代表性的地方政府國際組織，致力于構(gòu)建全球地方政府網(wǎng)絡(luò)，凝聚全球城市力量，攜手應(yīng)對氣候變化、貧富差距、性別平等、城市治理等全球性挑戰(zhàn)。

Letter of Intent to Establish Sister City Relations Signed Between W anzhou District of Chongqing and Monclova of Mexico重慶市萬州區(qū)與墨西哥蒙克洛瓦市簽署發(fā)展國際友好城市關(guān)系意向書

On October 21st, a letter of intent to establish sister city relations was signed between Wanzhou District of Chongqing and Monclova of Mexico. It signified a bridge of friendly exchange and win-win cooperation built between the two local governments of China and Mexico. And it is the first letter of intent to establish international sister city relations signed by Monclova with a local government of China. For that, the two sides will work together to carry out exchanges and cooperation in economy, trade, culture, education, environment conservation, and tourism, so as to promote common development and realize mutual benefits.

According to an official from the Foreign Affairs Office of Wanzhou District Government, it will fully leverage its roles in foreign affairs to improve exchange and cooperation between the two cities and strive to make pragmatic progress.

10日21日，重慶市萬州區(qū)與墨西哥科阿韋拉州蒙克洛瓦市簽署發(fā)展國際友好城市關(guān)系意向書。意味著中墨兩國地方政府之間又架起一座友好交流、互利合作的橋梁。這是蒙克洛瓦市首次與中國地方政府簽署雙方發(fā)展國際友好城市關(guān)系意向書。雙方將共同努力推動兩地在經(jīng)貿(mào)、文化、教育、環(huán)保、旅游等方面展開交流合作，促進共同發(fā)展，實現(xiàn)互利共贏。

萬州區(qū)政府外辦負責人表示，將充分發(fā)揮外事職能作用，積極促進兩地友好交流、攜手合作，力爭取得實際成效。

Monclova, located in the northeast of Mexico, is one of the 12 most competitive cities in the country. The subsidiary of Golden Dragon Group in Monclova, headquartered in Wanzhou District, Chongqing, played an active role in the signing of the letter of intent.

The Second Conference on Traditional Medicine (Segunda Conferencia de Medicina Tradicional) was held online by Chongqing Bayu Folk Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum; Chongqing University of Education; Department of Culture of Yucatán, Mexico;Yucatán China-Mexico Chamber of Trade; and Chinese Language Center,Yucatan Peninsula. The Conference was held onsite at Chongqing Bayu Folk Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum.

A federal representative from the Mexican state, Pacheco, underlined the importance of firmly advancing traditional medicine and other great traditions.He is willing to act as a liaison between China and Mexico to help advance friendly relations between the two countries. Martha Pea, a representative of the International Affairs Coordination Office of the Yucatán State Government,said that both Chinese and Mexican traditional medicine have achieved sound development. It is envisaged that this video conference will strengthen the connections and interactions between Yucatán and China.

Zhou Yi, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, briefly introduced the positive contribution of traditional Chinese medicine in the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the development of TCM in Chongqing. He expressed that this year marks the 50thanniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mexico. This exchange of traditional medicine is an opportunity to contribute to the world’s medical development,promote life science research, and build a bridge for promoting the health and well-being of the people of the two places and enhancing traditional friendship.

Experts in Chinese and Mexican traditional medicine discussed topics such as how Chinese medicine prevents COVID-19, the association between acupuncture and lung diseases, the application of Chinese medicine’s meridian acupoint massage in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19, and the use of Mayan medicine’s fumigation therapy for treating mental illness.

Attending the conference were heads of relevant departments of the Yucatán State Government of Mexico, the Great Museum of the Mayan World,the Yucatán China-Mexico Chamber of Trade, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Health, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, Yuzhong District, and the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum.

重慶市政府外辦副主任周毅簡要介紹了中醫(yī)藥在全球抗疫中的積極貢獻和重慶中醫(yī)發(fā)展基本情況，并表示今年是中墨建交50周年，重慶愿與尤卡坦州一道，以此次傳統(tǒng)醫(yī)學交流為契機，豐富世界醫(yī)學事業(yè)、推進生命科學研究，為促進兩地人民健康福祉、增進傳統(tǒng)友誼搭起橋梁。

會上，中墨傳統(tǒng)醫(yī)學專家圍繞中醫(yī)如何防疫、針灸與肺疾的關(guān)系、中醫(yī)經(jīng)絡(luò)穴位按摩與防治新冠肺炎、瑪雅醫(yī)學對精神疾病的治療、瑪雅醫(yī)學熏蒸療法等主題進行分享交流。

Online Culture and Tourism Promotion Event Held in Chongqing and Minsk Oblast of Belarus重慶市與白俄羅斯明斯克州舉行文化旅游線上推介會

On October 14th, the culture and tourism promotion event between Chongqing and Minsk was held. The Chongqing venue was the Window for International Exchanges of Chongqing Culture & Tourism.

The Minsk Oblast Government promoted the resources and strengths of local culture and tourism through themes of attractions and cultural potential. Chongqing introduced its unique cultural and tourism resources with keywords like 8D magic city, majestic Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, and its splendid world heritage sites. The related enterprises in the two places also held discussions of the tourism industry with their local features such as the nursing industry of Minsk and the hot spring industry of Chongqing. The promotion event has deepened the mutual knowledge of industries in the two places, ensuring their strengths and supplementing each other.

This year marks the 30thanniversary of China-Belarus diplomatic relations and the year of China-Belarus sub-national cooperation, as well as the 5thanniversary of the Chongqing-Minsk sister city ties. Various cultural exchange events were held successfully by Chongqing and the Consulate General of Belarus in Chongqing. Following that, Chongqing will continue to advance the cultural and tourism exchanges with Belarus and other countries and regions, and promote the integration of economy,trade, and people-to-people exchange.

Chongqing Ballet on “Cloud Show” in Colombia重慶芭蕾舞劇亮相哥倫比亞文藝“云展演”

In cooperation with local media, the Chinese Embassy in Colombia launched a series of cultural and artistic performance events to celebrate the 73rdanniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Particularly, “In Pursuit of Shangri-La” and“Ripples Across Stagnant Water” as the original ballet performances from Chongqing Ballet were selected by the Embassy to be shared on Bogota TV and Centro Virtual Isaacs. The shows provided an immersive experience of Chinese beautiful mountains and rivers and the magnificent Chinese traditional and modern stage arts.
