The light of Cantonese Opera粵劇傳唱灑暖陽(yáng)

粵劇悠揚(yáng)，四海傳唱?；泟鞯搅撕Ｍ?，粵劇讓我們沐浴著文化的暖陽(yáng)。

Since I was a child， I have been connected with Cantonese Opera a lot. Nevertheless， I refused to listen to it firstly because its quite different from other popular music. Thankfully， due to my grandpa， I gradually found its fascination.

Cantonese Opera， originating in Foshan， is one of the performance styles in China. Cantonese Opera has a long history， which dates back to Revolution of 1911 when some Cantonese Operas actors were influenced by the ideological trend of democratic revolution. Later， its widely performed in other areas such as Singapore， Malaysia， the

United States， Canada and so on. Cantonese Opera is just like a bridge linking overseas Chinese with their hometowns. What impressed me most is the characters who always convey their attitudes and feelings by tone conversion. Besides， each song of Cantonese Opera tells us a story， such as Tang Pak Fu Lighting Chouheung， Farewell My Concubine and so on. Performed in the form of Cantonese Opera， these stories sound more attractive and powerful.

On October 2nd， 2006， Cantonese Opera was listed in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. As a Chinese， I am so glad to witness the Chinese culture that is spreading all over the world， and many foreigners begin to recognize and accept Chinese culture， and even come to love it. The light of Cantonese Opera is shining in China， and even the whole world.
