1. 一般將來時的構(gòu)成：will/shall + 動詞原形

Shall用于第一人稱（I， We）， will用于第二、第三人稱。美國英語在陳述句中不論什么人稱一律用will。此時句中常與一些表示將來的時間狀語連用，如：next （week， month， year， day）， tomorrow， the day after tomorrow， tomorrow （morning， afternoon， evening）， from now on， in a minute， at once， right away， in a few days， some day， soon， some time， this （evening， week， term， month， year）， before long。

We/I will （shall）arrive tomorrow. 我們/我明天到。

The meeting won’t last long. 會開不了多久。

She will listen to the CD at home this weekend. 這個周末，她將要在家里聽這個CD。

1）表示將來要發(fā)生的動作或存在的狀態(tài)。

It’ll soon be Christmas.? 很快就到圣誕節(jié)了。

He will come back next Sunday.下星期天，他就回來了。

Will you play football with us this afternoon？ 下午你與我們一起踢足球好嗎？

2）表示粗淺的分析，預測將來要發(fā)生動作的可能性。

His brother will be a college student after he finishes middle school.

中學畢業(yè)后，他哥哥要上大學。

I think it will rain. 我認為天要下雨了。

3）表示帶有意愿色彩的將來要發(fā)生的動作。

I’m sure that they will come here and help us.? 我確信他們會來幫助我們的。

We will give you some Christmas presents on Christmas Day.

圣誕節(jié)，我們要贈送給你圣誕禮物的。

4）在時間狀語從句、條件狀語從句中，如果主句是表示將來發(fā)生的動作，那么從句要用一般現(xiàn)在時代替將來時。

If it doesn’t rain tomorrow， we’ll set out on a walking tour.

如果明天不下雨，我們就動身徒步旅行。

I will renew the book the Monkey King-Quest for the Sutra until I finish reading it.

我要繼借這本《齊天大圣孫悟空》直到我讀完。

I’ll let you know as soon as I hear from her.我一收到她的來信我就告訴你。

5）表示按客觀規(guī)律發(fā)展的自然趨勢。

He will be twenty-first years old next month. 到下個月他將滿21歲了。

Tomorrow will be April Fools’ Day. 明天是愚人節(jié)。

6）Shall、will 在疑問句中并不是單純表示將來的意義，也可以作情態(tài)動詞。主要句型：

A）Shall I...（we）？ / Will you ...？ 表示委婉的、客氣的請求、邀請、命令等感情意愿。

Will you go into the centre with me？ 你和我一起去市里好嗎？

Will you please turn off the television now？ 現(xiàn)在你把電視關了好嗎？

—Shall we watch the dolphin show tomorrow？

——我們明天觀看海豚表演好嗎？

—Good idea！

——好主意！

—Shall I open the window now？

——我現(xiàn)在把窗戶打開行嗎？

—Yes， please.

——行，打開吧！

B）Will you please +動詞原形...？表達一種委婉的要求、命令或詢問對方的某種意愿。

Will you please tell me where you live now？

請告訴我現(xiàn)在你住哪好嗎？
