形容詞、副詞最高級(jí)的構(gòu)成：

（1）單音節(jié)詞在詞尾加-est 構(gòu)成最高級(jí)。如：

round — roundest，bright — brightest，tall — tallest

young — youngest，long — longest，black — blackest

（2）以字母e結(jié)尾的詞只在詞尾加-st 構(gòu)成最高級(jí)。如：

nice — nicest，fine — finest，white — whitest

（3）重讀閉音節(jié)以一個(gè)輔音字母結(jié)尾的，應(yīng)先雙寫輔音字母，再加-est。如：

big — biggest，thin — thinnest，fat — fattest

（4）以輔音字母加y結(jié)尾的詞，先把y改為i，再加- est。如：

easy — easiest，heavy — heaviest，happy — happiest

（5）在某些多音節(jié)形容詞、副詞前，應(yīng)加most構(gòu)成最高級(jí)。如：

beautiful — most beautiful，carefully — most carefully

（6）某些形容詞的最高級(jí)變化是不規(guī)則的。如：

good / well — best， ?bad/badly — worst， many/much — most， little — least

形容詞、副詞最高級(jí)的用法：

形容詞、副詞最高級(jí)用于三者或三者以上的人或事物的比較，意為“最……” 。如：

（2020·遼寧·丹東）Amy has read many history books， so she learns history of all the subjects.

A. well B. bad C. best D. worst

【解析】C.句意：艾米讀過很多歷史書，所以她在所有科目中歷史學(xué)得 。根據(jù)句中所給范圍“of all the subjects”可知，應(yīng)使用副詞最高級(jí)best，表示學(xué)得最好。故選C。

注意：表示比較范圍的介詞of或in構(gòu)成短語的區(qū)別：

of后面一般接表示一群人或事物的代詞或名詞，of 后的名詞或代詞屬于同一個(gè)概念范疇。 in 后面一般接表示某一組織、單位、團(tuán)體之類的集體名詞或場所的名詞。如：

【解析】 D.句意：我很擅長網(wǎng)球，事實(shí)上，我可能是俱樂部里 。根據(jù)“pretty good at tennis”以及“in the club”可知，此處表示的是最高級(jí)“最好的”，要用the best。故選D。

【解析】 C.句意：這個(gè)年輕人在所有的表演者中是 。根據(jù)句中的“of all the performers”“在所有的表演者中”可知，這里表示在三者以上的范圍內(nèi)比較，應(yīng)用形容詞最高級(jí)形式。故選C。

形容詞、副詞最高級(jí)的常用句型：

A. 主語 + be + the + 形容詞最高級(jí) + 單數(shù)名詞 + in/of/among構(gòu)成的句型。

B. 主語 + be + one of + the + 最高級(jí) + 名詞復(fù)數(shù) ?+ in/of /among構(gòu)成的句型。表示 “最……之一”。

C. 主語 + 實(shí)意動(dòng)詞 + （the） + 副詞最高級(jí) + 單數(shù)名詞 + in/of/amon構(gòu)成的句型。表示“……是……中最……的”。

D. Which/Who + is + 最高級(jí)， A， B or C？ 如：

【解析】 B.句意：《我和我的祖國》是我看過的 電影。根據(jù)“I’ve ever seen”“我見過的”，表達(dá)的是最高級(jí)的意義，考查形容詞最高級(jí)。故選B。

形容詞、副詞最高級(jí)用法中的注意事項(xiàng)：

（1）形容詞最高級(jí)前面必須要加定冠詞the，副詞最高級(jí)前的the 可以省去。如：

A. most outgoing B. more outgoing C. the most outgoing

【解析】 C.句意：我認(rèn)為Mark是我們班所有男孩中 。 根據(jù)“in our class”，可知要用形容詞最高級(jí)形式，最高級(jí)前面要加the。故選C。

（2）the + 序數(shù)詞 + 形容詞最高級(jí)表示“第幾最……”，注意序數(shù)詞前面必須有the。如：

（3）形容詞最高級(jí)前面有指示代詞、不定代詞、物主代詞或名詞所有格等修飾時(shí)，最高級(jí)前面不再加the。如：

【解析】 C.句意：香港 — 珠海 — 澳門大橋是世界上 跨海大橋，于2018年12月贏得了另一項(xiàng)國際大獎(jiǎng)。“是世界上”屬于最高級(jí)的比較范圍，形容詞最高級(jí)的前面已有world’s來修飾，不能再加the。故選C。

（4）形容詞和副詞最高級(jí)、比較級(jí)和原級(jí)的互換。如：

This is the best movie I have ever seen.

=I have never seen a better movie before.

=I have never seen such a good movie. 這是我看過的最好的一部電影。

Miss Yang is the most popular teacher in our school.=Miss Yang is more popular than any other teacher in our school. 楊老師是我們學(xué)校中最受歡迎的老師。
