2月27日，香港知名喜劇演員吳孟達病逝，他生前留下的最后一條微博寫著“我是中國人”，令無數網友集體致敬。他雖然在銀幕這個舞臺上演了一輩子的配角，但正如《人民日報》評價的那樣：在香港這個舞臺，愛國者達叔，和那些熱愛國家的人，永遠都是主角。

Born in Xiamen， China， in 1951， Ng moved to Hong Kong with his family at the age of five. After attending acting classes put on by Hong Kong 3lbroadcaster TVB in the early 1970s， when he was a classmate of Lamma Island-born Chow Yun-fat， he became a contract actor for the network.

Ng took supporting roles in multiple TV series in his early years until the chance to play a Chinese 4）martial arts character in Chor Lau-heung brought him public recognition. He then 5lventured into movies in 1981 with a debut in Heroic Cops， co-starring with Chow.

Just when Ng started rising to fame in the 1980s， he fell into a 6haze of drinking， gambling that left him with a debt of HK$300，000， equivalent to more than six years the salary of an average worker at the time. He sought help from his friend Chow Yun-fat， but was rejected.

“I'd feel ashamed if I had to declare 7bankruptcy. I realised that I needed to figure a way out. I didn't dare telling my family at the beginning and sol went to find [Chow Yun-fat]，” Ng said in an interview.

He realised that Chow would not give him money because that would not 8）ultimately help him. He declared bankruptcy， worked hard， and worked his way up again. He was later thankful that Chow did not lend him the money.

He starred with Stephen Chow in the television dramas The Final Combatand The Justice of Life in the late 1980s and viewers fell in love with the pair's chemistry.

Thereafter， he took part in many comedies with Stephen Chow， including All for the Winner in 1990 and Shaolin Soccer in 2001， which was the pair's last film together. “If we don't have any dream in life， we'll look like a salted fish"， from the 2001 fim Shaolin Soccer remains for many people their favorite cinema line.

In recent years， Ng had been active in the Chinese mainland. In 2017， he 9）participated in the science fiction film The Wandering Earth.

As a sci-fi， there were lots of action scenes， and Ng had suffered from heart failure. People worried about him， but Ng pointed out that The Wandering Earth was an excellent lolscript and was willing to contribute to the development of Chinese science fiction films， so he insisted on finishing the movie's filming.

After acting for so many years， he almost always played a supporting role. Ng was recognized as a golden supporting role， not only for Stephen Chow but also for llcountless stars. Ng didn't care， saying “With the help of the supporting role， the 12protagonist will play well."

The last Sina Weibo post left by Ng Man-tat reads， “I am a Chinese." It gained respect from netizens who l3shed their tears， not only for the classic movies he left， but also for his plain but natural love for his country.

著名香港演員吳孟達于周六下午因肝癌去世，享年70歲。被稱為“達叔”的他以與“喜劇之王”周星馳合作而聞名，經常扮演叔叔或同伙的角色。

吳孟達1951年出生于中國廈門，五歲時隨家人移居香港。20世紀70年代初，他參加了香港廣播電視臺的表演班，當時他與南丫島的周潤發(fā)是同班同學，后來成為該電視臺的簽約演員。

吳孟達早年曾在多部電視連續(xù)劇中擔任配角，直到有機會在《楚留香傳奇》中飾演一個武俠人物而走紅。之后，他在1981年周潤發(fā)主演的《執(zhí)法者》中首次亮相，涉足電影業(yè)。

就在吳孟達在20世紀80年代開始成名時，他因飲酒、賭博而陷入負債30萬港幣的陰霾之中，這相當于當時普通工作者六年以上的工資。他向朋友周潤發(fā)尋求幫助，但遭到拒絕。

一次吳孟達接受采訪時說：“我覺得宣告破產很無恥，明白自己必須找一條出路。開始不敢給家里人說，所以就去找周潤發(fā)?！?/p>

他意識到周潤發(fā)不會給他錢，因為那并不能真正幫助到他。于是，他宣布破產，努力工作，從頭再來。他很感激周潤發(fā)當時沒有借錢給他。

20世紀80年代后期，他與周星馳一起出演電視劇《蓋世豪俠》和《他來自江湖》，觀眾們愛上了兩人的化學反應。

之后，他與周星馳一起合作了許多電影，包括1990年的《賭圣》和2001年兩人合作的最后一部影片《少林足球》。“做人如果沒有夢想，跟咸魚有什么區(qū)別？”至今仍是許多人最喜歡的電影臺詞。

近年來，吳孟達一直活躍于中國內地。2017年，他參演了科幻電影《流浪地球》。

作為科幻片，其中有很多動作場面，吳孟達一度因心力衰竭而暈倒。人們?yōu)樗保珔敲线_認為《流浪地球》有著出色的劇本，他愿意為中國科幻電影的發(fā)展做出貢獻，因此堅持要完成這部電影的拍攝。

在多年的演藝生涯中，他幾乎總是扮演配角。不僅是周星馳，吳孟達也是無數明星公認的“黃金配角”。但吳孟達不在乎這些，他說：“有了配角的幫助，主角才能演好?！?/p>

吳孟達的最后一條新浪微博寫道：“我是中國人。”這句話贏得了網民的尊敬，他們不僅為吳孟達留下的經典電影流淚，還為他對國家自然而樸素的愛而流淚。
