本堂課的教學(xué)內(nèi)容是人教版新目標(biāo)《英語》九年級Unit 6 When was it invented?Section B 2a—2e Do you know when basketball was invented?。本單元的話題是inventions。本篇課文的內(nèi)容圍繞“籃球運(yùn)動”這一主題展開,介紹了籃球運(yùn)動的歷史、籃球比賽的規(guī)則、打籃球所需要的設(shè)備及籃球的流行趨勢。通過學(xué)習(xí)本篇課文,學(xué)生能掌握文章的主要內(nèi)容及文中所包含的短語和語法知識。在教學(xué)中,教師滲透“熱愛體育、珍愛生命、為國爭光”的德育理念,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的集體榮譽(yù)感與愛國主義情操。通過本堂課的閱讀教學(xué),使學(xué)生初步掌握運(yùn)用思維導(dǎo)圖輔助學(xué)習(xí)的策略,能把自己所讀到的信息進(jìn)行梳理,并以思維導(dǎo)圖的形式呈現(xiàn);學(xué)會抓關(guān)鍵詞、找中心句、劃分段落層次,從而完成各項閱讀任務(wù),并學(xué)會發(fā)表看法,全面提升綜合語言運(yùn)用能力。

1.“Teach English in English”:即《義務(wù)教育英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)(2011年版)》所倡導(dǎo)的“用英語教英語”的教學(xué)方法。在課堂上盡量使用英語教學(xué),為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造良好的語言學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境,使其充分感知、積極體驗、大膽實踐,把握用英語進(jìn)行交際的機(jī)會。

本堂課剛開始,教師通過播放籃球比賽視頻,快速吸引了學(xué)生的注意力,調(diào)動了他們的學(xué)習(xí)積極性。根據(jù)所給信息找出問題的答案、完成選擇題、通過略讀找出每段的段落大意、補(bǔ)全表格信息、利用思維導(dǎo)圖復(fù)述課文等教學(xué)活動使學(xué)生的閱讀能力得到了有效鍛煉。競速閱讀這一教學(xué)活動極大地點燃了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)熱情。學(xué)生挑戰(zhàn)成功之后,充滿了喜悅之情,學(xué)習(xí)熱情大增。教師從旁進(jìn)行朗讀指導(dǎo),幫助他們提高了英語口語表達(dá)能力。
本堂課重視德育。通過引導(dǎo)學(xué)生理解文章內(nèi)容,激發(fā)其關(guān)心和熱愛體育運(yùn)動的情操,使其加強(qiáng)體育鍛煉,樹立為國爭光的崇高理想。通過對籃球運(yùn)動員成長經(jīng)歷的介紹,教育學(xué)生要有自己的夢想,并為實現(xiàn)夢想堅持奮斗。通過小組成員共寫一篇短文的教學(xué)活動,教育學(xué)生要互相幫助,樹立團(tuán)隊意識。在小組展示時,教師鼓勵學(xué)生創(chuàng)造性地運(yùn)用語言進(jìn)行表達(dá),當(dāng)他們有所發(fā)揮或創(chuàng)新時,適時地給予肯定和鼓勵,最大限度地調(diào)動了學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的積極性。
得閱讀者得天下。在初中英語閱讀教學(xué)中,教師要充分挖掘閱讀文本,采取靈活、多樣的教學(xué)手段,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力。
