Once upon a time, there was a handsome young prince who lived in a beautiful castle in France. Although he had everything his heart desired,the prince was selfish and unkind.Then one night, an enchantress transformed him into a hideous beast.

從前，在法國的一座金碧輝煌的城堡里，住著一位年輕英俊的王子。盡管王子擁有一切他想要的東西，但他卻是一個刻薄而自私的人。一天晚上，一個女巫把他變成了一頭丑陋的野獸。

The enchantress also gave the beast an enchanted rose. If he could learn to love others and earned their love in return by the time the last petal fell, the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for the rest of his life.

女巫還送給王子一朵魔法玫瑰。如果在最后一片花瓣凋謝之前，王子能學(xué)會愛他人并獲得他人的愛，魔咒就會解除。否則王子將再也不能從野獸變回人類了。

Belle lived in a quiet village with her father. She was clever, brave and loved to read. But almost all the villagers thought she was odd.

貝兒和他的父親住在一個安靜的小村莊里。她聰明、勇敢，熱愛讀書。但大部分村民都認為貝兒是個怪人。

A young man called Gaston wanted to marry Belle. But Belle rejected him.

年輕人加斯頓想要娶貝兒，但貝兒拒絕了他。

Hey, I am that hideous beast.

嗨，我就是那頭丑陋的野獸。

As we all know, because Belle’s father picked up a rose from the beast’s garden, so the beast tried to locked him up. The brave Belle volunteered to be locked up in the castle in order to save her father.

正如大家所了解的，因為貝兒的父親摘了野獸花園里的玫瑰，所以野獸要把貝兒的父親關(guān)起來。勇敢的貝兒為了救出父親，自愿被關(guān)進城堡里。

The beast had a bad temper, and often got angry and roared.

野獸的脾氣很差，動不動就生氣、吼叫。

Belle was also unhappy about being locked up in the castle, the servants came to comfort her.

被關(guān)在城堡里的貝兒也不開心，仆人們都來安慰她。

The beast gave his book to Belle. This stopped them from working against each other.

野獸把自己的書送給了貝兒。這使他們不再對著干了。

The beast's temper was getting better and better, and the relationship between them was getting better and better too.

野獸的脾氣越來越好了，它和貝兒的關(guān)系也越來越融洽了。

Gaston found out from Belle's father that there was a beast in the forest, so he called on the villagers to go with him to kill the beast.

加斯頓從貝兒父親口中得知森林里有野獸，于是他號召村民們和他一起去殺死野獸。

Gaston succeeded in killing the beast.But because the beast had fallen in love with Belle and was loved by her, so the enchantress resurrected the beast and transformed him back to his original look. Look, the prince and Belle got married.

加斯頓成功殺死了野獸，但因為野獸已經(jīng)愛上了貝兒，也得到了貝兒的愛，女巫復(fù)活了野獸并將它變回了原來的樣子?？?，王子和貝兒結(jié)婚了。

The enchantress placed a powerful spell on the castle and all who lived there. The servants were transformed into all kinds of furniture.

女巫也給整個城堡和里面的仆人施加了強大的魔咒。仆人們變成了各式各樣的家具。
