The road not taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood，And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler，long I stood

And looked down one as far as I couldTo where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other，as just as fair，And having perhaps the better claim，Because it was grassy and wanted wear;Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same，

And both that morning equally layIn leaves no step had trodden black. Oh，I kept the first for another day！Yet knowing how way leads on to way，I doubted ifI should ever come backI shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence：

Two roads diverged in a wood，and I——I took the one less traveled by，

And that has made all the difference.

我，單獨(dú)的旅人，佇立良久

極目眺望一條路的盡頭

看它隱沒(méi)在叢林深處

然后我選擇了另一條路

一樣平直，也許更值得

若有過(guò)往人蹤

路的狀況會(huì)相差無(wú)幾

那天早晨，兩條路都覆蓋在枯葉下

沒(méi)有踐踏的污痕

啊，原先那條路留給另一天吧！

明知一條路會(huì)引出另一條路，

我懷疑我是否會(huì)回到原處。

在許多許多年以后，在某處，

我會(huì)輕輕嘆息說(shuō)：

黃樹(shù)林里分出兩條路，而我，

我選擇了較少人跡的一條，

使得一切多么地不同。
