China isa large country with timehonored （歷史悠久的）history.From the ancient times, the ancestors of Chinese laboured,lived,and multiplied on this vast land and have created splendid culture.As one of the four cradles（搖籃）of world's earliest civilizations,it has a recorded history of nearly 5,000 years.Throughout the history of Chinese civilization,itsagriculture and handicrafts have been famous for their high level of cleverness.During these 5,000 years,China has nurtured（培育；養(yǎng)育）many great thinkers,inventors,statesmen,strategists（戰(zhàn)略家）,men of letters and artists,yielding（產(chǎn)出）a rich cultural heritage and fine cultural traditions.The following three items of traditional Chinese culture have had a worldwide impact.

The spirit of the tea ceremony

West Lake Dragon Well Tea（西湖龍井）and Yunnan Pu'er Tea（云南普洱）have long been world-famous.They are pretty popular due to their superior color and flavor.The spirit of the Chinese tea ceremony reflects the Chinese attitude towards life and spirituality.These are the things that people all over the world can benefit from.

Confucianism has flourished during the last 2,500 of China's 5,000-year history.It has been the most important part of this ancient civilization.This thought has had the most profound and long lasting influence in China's history.Seventy-four Nobel Prize winners and many other highly respected scholars have stated thatforthe benefitofmankind's livelihood and developmentinto the next century,these teachings should be promoted and adopted worldwide.This would provide long lasting benefits for man,helping to ensure a peaceful and happy life.
