奇怪的節(jié)日之圣·帕特里克節(jié)

大家好，我是一個(gè)移民到新澤西的八年級(jí)學(xué)生。在一個(gè)不熟悉的地方安家落戶(hù)，一切從零開(kāi)始，是極其困難的事情。但當(dāng)你開(kāi)始克服困難、嘗試著融入其中，你就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)不同文化之間有趣的差異。

那一天，當(dāng)我走進(jìn)學(xué)校的大門(mén)時(shí)，幾乎懷疑自己走錯(cuò)了地方。目光所及之處，幾乎所有人都穿著綠色的服飾：綠色的襯衫、褲子、旗幟、項(xiàng)鏈、鞋子……

我感到摸不著頭腦——今兒是什么日子？怎么所有人都穿綠色的衣服呢？

那天的第一堂課，老師為我們介紹了這“綠色的節(jié)日”的來(lái)歷。原來(lái)，每年的3月17日是西方的“圣·帕特里克日”，也叫愛(ài)爾蘭日。天主教徒們會(huì)在這天紀(jì)念他們的圣人——帕特里克。

當(dāng)老師問(wèn)到是否所有人都穿著綠色的服飾時(shí)，我便開(kāi)始左顧右盼。一個(gè)全身是綠的男孩一下吸引了我的注意力。他穿著印有巨大三葉草的綠襯衫，外罩一件翠綠色的西服。青綠色的西服褲，搭配一雙艷綠色的鞋子。最可愛(ài)的是，他還戴著一頂綠色的帽子。

那個(gè)男孩明顯地注意到了我的目光。他回過(guò)頭來(lái)打量，好奇地問(wèn)我：“你也穿了綠色的衣服嗎？”

我上上下下看了看自己，微笑著回答道：“當(dāng)然。我的襪子是綠的??！”
