Yunnan：the South of Colorful Clouds

Last summer， I went to Yuannan with my parents. It lies in the southwest of China. The view of Yunnan in the air is so beautiful！ People also call it the South of Colorful Clouds（彩云之南）.

We mainly visited Kunming（昆明）and Dali（大理） there. Now，let me show you around！

As soon as I got to the Stone Forest， I was amazed by its strange stones. Some stones look like flowers. Some stones look like naughty animals. One of the most famous stones looks like a beautiful Sani（撒尼族） girl named Ashima（阿詩(shī)瑪）.

Dali is an ancient city with a long history. In the past，Dali ancient city was a gateway to the Silk Road（絲綢之路）. Now，there are many hotels and shops along the street.

Erhai（洱海） is not a sea，it is a big lake. Its name means “Ear-shaped Sea”. The water is so clean that you can see stones at the bottom of the lake.

Butterfly Spring（蝴蝶泉） lies in the green woods under the Yunnong Peak（蒼山云弄峰）. It is famous for Xu XiaKe’s description in his travel notes. There is a butterfly museum in the park，in which many butterfly specimens（標(biāo)本）are on display.
