All About Mom

My mom love texting[發(fā)短信].I once got a text from her where“You’re amazing” autocorrected[自動修正]to “You’re adopted[收養(yǎng)，領(lǐng)養(yǎng)].”

And she once texted me “can you come over, I want you to take a selfie[自拍照]of me.”

My mom moved into a new house, and I went to visit for a couple of[幾，幾個]days. When I was searching for[尋找]a coffee cup one morning, I said, “It seems like[似乎，好像]I’m always looking for something in your kitchen.”

“That’s good,” Mom said.“Because when you know where to look, it’s time to go home.”

“Why doesn’t your mother like me?”A woman asks her boyfriend.

“She’s never liked anyone I’ve dated[約會]. I once dated someone exactly like her, and that didn’t work out[解決，行得通]at all.”

“What happened?”

“My father couldn’t stand[忍受]her.”

I was sound[酣暢地]asleep when the telephone rang.

“Hi!” It was my mother.She began to rattle[喋喋不休]on about the coming busy day.

“Mom,” I said. “It’s five in the morning.”

“Really? What are you doing up so early?”
