七月圣誕節(jié)

Christmas in July is an event which is unofficially celebrated as a holiday by people. It is especially popular among the young people. A Christmas in July dinner usually includes Christmas Decorations1， Christmas Candles， colorful streamers2， candies， Christmas hats and whistles3.

During the summer months in the northern hemisphere4， the weather becomes increasingly hot and many people wish for the atmosphere5 of cooler temperatures， gift giving， and holiday spirit. To satisfy this need， some people hold parties during the month of July like the holiday of Christmas.

In many western countries， July has few marketing opportunities， so to justify6 sales， shops will sometimes announce a “Christmas in July” sale.

In some parts of Australia， where Christmas falls in the summer and July is the one of the coldest months， Christmas in July parties are held just like the traditional northern Christmas. Some traditional Christmas activities are difficult to have in the December summertime， so these may be held in July instead. In Australia this celebration is also called “HalfChristmas”.

In the United States， it is more often used as a marketing tool than as an actual holiday celebrated by ordinary people. Television stations may choose to rerun Christmas specials， and many stores have “Christmas in July” sales.

七月的圣誕節(jié)是人們慶祝的一個非正式的節(jié)日，它在年輕人中尤其受歡迎。七月圣誕大餐通常有圣誕飾品、蠟燭、各色彩帶、糖果、圣誕帽和哨子。

北半球的夏季月份，天氣日趨炎熱，很多人渴望降溫、禮品和假日。為了滿足這種愿望，有些人會在7月份辦聚會就如同過圣誕假日一般。

在很多西方國家，7月商機很少，因此，為了促銷，商店有時會宣布“七月圣誕”大展銷。

在澳大利亞的一些地區(qū)，圣誕節(jié)在夏季，而七月是最冷的一個季節(jié)，如同過北半球傳統(tǒng)的圣誕節(jié)，人們舉辦七月圣誕聚會。有些傳統(tǒng)的圣誕活動在12月夏季時間很難開展，因此這些活動在7月舉辦。在澳大利亞，這種慶祝也叫“半圣誕”。

在美國，與其說七月圣誕節(jié)是普通人的假日，還不如說它是個市場工具。電視臺特地重播圣誕節(jié)目，很多商店都有“七月圣誕”大展銷。
