“China and Greece， two countries vastly distant from each other and with entirely different economic volumes， have found the biggest common denominator of interests as they celebrate the 45th anniversary of their diplomatic relations. This is a historical coincidence， as well as a heavy responsibility. China needs Greece， just as Greece needs China. China highly appreciates the support and active participation of Greece in the Belt and Road Initiative， and is confident that Greece will not only walk out of the debt crisis， but also play a more important role in regional peace and stability.”
