Beijing has history① of over 3，000 years， with a population of more than 20 million. It is a very beautiful city with a lot of places of interest， such as the Great Wall， the Summer Palace， the Forbidden City and so on， which are well worth being visited②.

In recent years， the city of Beijing has been advancing very quickly. You can see parks， shopping centers， modern factories and high buildings there and here③. Also， more and more highways and overpasses have built up④. Wherever you go， you can see trees， grasses⑤ and flowers. All these make life in Beijing convenient， pleasant and colourful.

Beijing has become a beautiful modern city. I believe that travelling to Beijing is your first choice.

At last， I wish you a happy trip in Beijing.

1. 優(yōu)點：

本文表達形式豐富、生動，并且使用了很多詞匯、短語和句型，為文章增色不少，很值得同學們的學習和借鑒。如果小作者再細心些，習作中出現(xiàn)的幾處錯誤應該是可以避免的。

2. 需要修改的地方：

①history改為a history。history作學科名詞時是不可數(shù)名詞，但指具體多長時間的歷史時是可數(shù)名詞。

②being visited改為visiting。be worth后只能接動名詞形式，不能接being+過去分詞，因為它通常用主動形式表達被動含義。

③there and here改為here and there。here and there是固定短語，意為“到處，處處”，詞序不能顛倒。

④have built up改為have been built up。根據(jù)上下文，此處應用現(xiàn)在完成時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)。

⑤grasses改為grass。grass是不可數(shù)名詞，沒有復數(shù)形式。

按中考英語作文滿分20的評分標準，本文修改前可得18分。
