A boy lost his arms in an accident. Since then， he has had to depend on the arms of his younger brother. In order to take care of him， his younger brother became his shadow （影子）， never leaving him alone for years. Except for writing with his toes （大腳趾）， he was unable to do anything in his life.

It was a cool October evening. Excitement and family members filled the hall. I was only a 7-year-old girl， but I was the center of attention. Finally， after weeks of preparation， I would show off all my hard work in a dance performance. Everything would be perfect—so I thought.
