      1.學(xué)生能夠熟練復(fù)述背誦story time 部分課文。

      2.學(xué)生能夠掌握區(qū)分情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can 和must 的不同之處。

      3.學(xué)生能夠熟練運(yùn)用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞進(jìn)行對(duì)“rule”的表述。

      4.培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的規(guī)則意識(shí),樹立“安全”意識(shí)。

      三、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)

      1.情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的正確熟練運(yùn)用。

      2.學(xué)生能夠熟練運(yùn)用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞進(jìn)行對(duì)“rule”的表述,談?wù)摗鞍踩眴?wèn)題。

      Step1: Warm up

      Watch a short video about how

      to cross the road.

      Q: What are they talking about?

      Q: What are the four steps?

      Step2: Revision

      Retell story time(復(fù)述story time 課文)

      How can we cross the road safely?

      What must we not do on the road?

      Step3: Presentation and practice

      1.教師給出提示性問(wèn)題,激發(fā)學(xué)生積極思考

      1)What is the girl doing? Is she right/ safe?2)Where is girl walking ?

      Get one student to tell the kids what they must do or mustnt do.

      2.Find the rules

      Show the four key sentences. Focus on the words. We call them Modal verbs. And we find the rules. 情態(tài)動(dòng)詞+動(dòng)詞原形

      兩者區(qū)別:Must:語(yǔ)氣最強(qiáng)烈,表示命令或權(quán)威。

      Can:表示可能,允許和能力等。

      3.Checking time

      Students do the exercise about “can and must”.

      【練習(xí)意圖:根據(jù)知識(shí)的梳理,隨堂檢測(cè)學(xué)生掌握情況,第一時(shí)間反饋?!?/p>

      4.Modal Family

      Get students to list the other modal verbs that have learned.

      Get them to make sentences with each modal verbs.

      Teacher can have short chat with each student.

      Eg: S1, May I come in? T, Yes, come in please.

      S2, Would you like to have some juice? T, Yes, Id love to.

      5. Read and try
