Great Changes in My Hometown

Great changes have taken place in my hometown since reform and opening up.

In the past the living conditions in my hometown were very poor. People had a hard life. Many people have less clothes and food. Few children had the chance to receive a good education.

Now my hometown is becoming better. There are more and more wide roads and modern tall buildings. The environment also becomes better. And there is less pollution. The sky is much bluer and water in the river is clearer. People can enjoy sports activities. They can live longer. People get on well with each other and communicating is becoming easier and quicker. Children are free to study in modern schools.

Im sure my hometown will become more and more beautiful in the future.

家鄉(xiāng)的巨變

我的家鄉(xiāng)自改革開放以來發(fā)生了巨大的變化。

過去我的家鄉(xiāng)的生活條件很差。人們生活艱苦。許多人缺衣少食。有很多的孩子沒有機會接受良好的教育。

現(xiàn)在我的家鄉(xiāng)變得更好了。道路變得越來越寬，現(xiàn)代化的高樓大廈也越來越多。環(huán)境也變得更好了。污染更少了，天空更藍了，小河的水更清澈了。人們可以盡情享受各種體育活動。他們能延年益壽。人們相處融洽，交流更加簡便快捷。孩子們在現(xiàn)代化的學(xué)校里免費學(xué)習(xí)。

我相信我的家鄉(xiāng)將來會變得越來越美麗。
