Step 1.Pre-reading
1.Review(復(fù)習(xí)活動(dòng))
Invite the students to watch a video and read those words or phrases loudly:Sing English songs,do some kungfu,play the pipa, cook, play basketball and so on.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:教師通過(guò)視頻,既可以用快節(jié)奏的音樂(lè)活躍氣氛,又可以讓學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)之前所學(xué)的單詞和詞組,為課文的學(xué)習(xí)減少障礙。
2.Introduction(自我介紹)
Talk about my English name and abilities,then present Robin.
T:Boys and girls,do you want to know something about me?
S:Yes.
T:MyEnglish name is Coco.I can dance.I can sing English songs.And I can write emails.AndRobin can write email,too.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)自我介紹,談?wù)撃芰υ掝},引出Robin,讓學(xué)生感覺(jué)親切,導(dǎo)入自然。
Step 2.While-reading
1.Read and choose(仔細(xì)閱讀課文,了解文中Robin的性格)
Read the email in details and find what Robin is like.
T:Please read quickly and make your choice. Before reading,I want to give you a learning tip.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)仔細(xì)閱讀課文的方式,指導(dǎo)學(xué)生如何讀懂課文細(xì)節(jié),進(jìn)一步理解閱讀內(nèi)容,復(fù)習(xí)單詞friendly和funny。同時(shí),為五年級(jí)學(xué)生提供一些閱讀技巧也是非常必要的,可以幫助他們更好地閱讀和理解。
2.Read and underline(再次閱讀課文內(nèi)容,回答問(wèn)題)
Read the email again,then answer two questions and finish the task“Tick or cross”.
Q1:What can Robin do?
Q2:What can’t he do?
同時(shí),給出另一個(gè)小提示。
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)讓學(xué)生帶著問(wèn)題再次仔細(xì)閱讀課文,思考文中人物能和不能做的事情,加深對(duì)人物的理解。
3.Sing a song(唱一首根據(jù)文中詞句自編的歌曲)
The teacher leads the students to sing a song.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:用熟悉的《小星星》旋律,帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生唱一首由課文填詞的歌曲。這樣,一方面可以緩解學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的疲勞,另一方面可以有效地鞏固所學(xué)課文的內(nèi)容。
4.Talk about Robin in the text(根據(jù)閱讀內(nèi)容說(shuō)一說(shuō)課文中人物的性格和能力)
(1)Give a model.
The teacher shows the students how to retell according to the key words.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)教師示范復(fù)述,指導(dǎo)學(xué)生如何根據(jù)關(guān)鍵詞及短語(yǔ)說(shuō)一說(shuō)課文中人物的性格和能力。
(2)Talk in groups.
The students try to talk about Robin in the text according to the key words in groups.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)小組內(nèi)談?wù)撜n文中的人物,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生借助關(guān)鍵詞句理解閱讀內(nèi)容并嘗試表達(dá)。
Step 3.Post-reading
1.Talk about yourself(談?wù)撟约?
Ask them to talk about themselves from three aspects:Their name, personality and ability.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)談?wù)撟约?,為學(xué)生提供語(yǔ)言輸出的機(jī)會(huì),也是對(duì)本節(jié)課學(xué)習(xí)的一種檢測(cè)和提升,并為下面的書(shū)寫(xiě)活動(dòng)做好鋪墊。
2.Read more emails(讀更多的郵件)
The students read two emails and learn to care about those disabled people and learn from them.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)閱讀課外有關(guān)殘疾人的郵件,鞏固本課相關(guān)閱讀內(nèi)容,同時(shí)激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)他們可貴的精神并關(guān)愛(ài)他們。
3.Let’swrite emailsto them(寫(xiě)一封郵件)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:這節(jié)課的另一個(gè)教學(xué)重點(diǎn)就是用句型“I can/can’t...”書(shū)寫(xiě)句子。讓學(xué)生寫(xiě)一封郵件,了解整封郵件的書(shū)寫(xiě)格式,知道怎么去回復(fù)郵件,進(jìn)一步提高寫(xiě)的能力,同時(shí)能夠更好地完成家庭作業(yè)。
4.Emotion education(情感教育)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:情感教育也是小學(xué)英語(yǔ)教育的一個(gè)重要部分,希望孩子們有愛(ài)心,能關(guān)愛(ài)殘疾兒童。
